Looking for a Used Car, But Purchased a New Car! We were looking for a reliable, safe starter car for our teenage son and had been targeting cars that were a few years old. We had been to a number o We were looking for a reliable, safe starter car for our teenage son and had been targeting cars that were a few years old. We had been to a number of dealers in NJ (the Route 22 dealers) and had the normal frustrating experience of folks trying to sell us cars we didn't want. We had found a few options, however, and were intending to return to view those with our son when we saw an online add for Salerno Duane Ford with an excellent price for a new 2014 Ford Focus (lower than prices we had seen at other dealers that were a few years old). We stopped in to ask about the deal. Bob Cerza looked up the deal online and told us the particulars of how we could get that price through the various Ford rebates and financing (which we hadn't considered nor known about). He was very helpful and worked out the pricing for three cars that were in a similar price range. We chose one and both the price and the service experience were fantastic! Hassle free and no negotiating nor back and forth "with my manager" like we had gotten at other dealers. We knew the price was great since we'd done our homework with Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds. We came back two days later to complete the purchase and the experience was equally great. Bob sat in the car and ran through all of the functions and controls with us. The signing of the paperwork was painless and we had the car two days after first seeing it. It was actually the most pleasant car buying experience we've had, and we have bought a number of cars in our years. We would definitely recommend Salerno Duane and Bob Cerza to our friends! More

I had a few warranty items that needed to be addressed. After walking out of a local dealer due to poor service I went to Salerno Duane on a recommendation of a fellow Mustang owner. I needed to have paint work done due to a corrosion problem on my hood, and also needed a seat cover replaced. The paint shop is fantastic, and the quality of work was excellent. The seat cover install was also done flawlessly. They also give a loaner car while they are servicing your car. These guys take care of your car, treat you with respect and fix it right. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a Ford service dept. to take care of your car. More
