There are times it's nice to have good people on your side Buying a car is not something that most people do every day. We weren't looking to the `re'learning curve but fortunately we had the good fortune of being directed to Saint J Subaru. Friends and coworkers told me about their experiences with Saint Jay Subaru. All of them felt they were treated like valued customers rather than just another sale. We felt that too and will give this dealership our endorsement whenever we get the chance. disappointment vehicle was supposed to be new but had over 600 miles on it from obtaining it from a dealer in Maine who had gotten it from a dealer in Connecticut. I vehicle was supposed to be new but had over 600 miles on it from obtaining it from a dealer in Maine who had gotten it from a dealer in Connecticut. I had contacted the Costco rep at the dealer, Kurtis, months ahead of time and again several weeks before I arrived home from AZ specifying exactly what I wanted and he said there would be no problem in having the car when I wanted it. I set up the date and appointment time and made it clear I was taking the car home with me as I live 114 miles from the dealership. Not only that, but the car had not been prepped. The sales person, Rose, had not been made aware that I didn't need a test drive as I'd done that in AZ before selecting what I wanted to buy. Then, after I drove it home and opened the glove box, the lock fell out of the glove box even though it hadn't at the dealership when Rose opened it. Sloppy prep work and even though they had a long time to get it ready while I worked with the finance person on my lease, it still wasn't ready when I was done with that. More

Not my best buying experience All was well until we reached an agreement on the selling price. Then we were left alone waiting for approximately 2 hours. when we returned to pick u All was well until we reached an agreement on the selling price. Then we were left alone waiting for approximately 2 hours. when we returned to pick up the new Outback, the financial manager had the wrong price we were paying for it, wanting to charge us an extra $1000. It was eventually corrected and we drove home the car but only after some stressful minutes. We came within seconds of walking out without buying. Like I said, not my best buying experience. More

Thank you! My daughter and I went to St J Subaru to check out a vehicle that we had seen on the website. We thought we were going for a look and if we liked the car to put some money on it and go home and figure out how we could afford it. But what happened is that we met several really helpful people that put a lot of effort into figuring it out with us and we drove home in an awesome new-to-us Outback. Way to many people had to stay late at work (which we felt both bad about and grateful for. Everyone we met was really helpful and great to deal with.
