I was able to get the vehicle jump-started & I decided to head to Safford to view your inventory. Quite honestly, I had no intentions of purchasing a vehicle that day as I felt that me & my family was still 12-18 months away from being financially ready to make that next move. However, thanks to your great Safford crew of professionals & our family's past experiences with the previous purchases made at Safford. Your Team convinced me & my wife Sheryl that the right time to purchase the '12 SXT Charger was on that day...it was the right thing to do. That afternoon I was quite impressed with your Team in how they once again made me & my family feel like we are part of a special family that has repeatedly taken care of our transportation needs for almost 10 years. Having been a former Toyota diehard...I must tell you that I have found my one & only "one stop auto shopping mall" that will continue to take care of our family for many more years to come. Every time I turn the key on our SXT Charger...I get real excited about headin' down the road in a vehicle that is extremely well-built and fits my needs unlike no other vehicle I have ever driven before. Literally, 32-35 mpg on the hiway / 23-27 mpg in the city...muscle...and total comfort is just a few of the many things I really appreciate about this "girl". Mr. Larry Lewis...A consumate professional. Again & again...a salesman who is totally customer service oriented and knows the Dodge lineup with such precise detail. Ms. Sharon...Special packages Lady. I could not find a more "down to earth" person who really knows how to add that special touch to the packaged deal. Mr. Leo...I had the opportunity to meet him for the first time a few years ago when we had purchased our Dodge Journey. I will refer to Leo as the "Captain" of this team that truly clicks on all cylinders. He truly works very hard to take care of the customers as well as he takes care of the Safford family name. For the first time I had the opportunity to meet Jan...she provided to me an extremely wonderful "first impression" of her skill as a New Car Sales Manager that knows how to make it work & with class. Finally, Scott in the Financial Department took care of the final details of our sale with relative ease and expertise that made me feel like we hit a home run once again with Safford. While me & my wife have been runnin' up & down from Fredericksburg to Herndon this past week...I think about the tremendous upgrade we have made from the Altima to the SXT thanks in part to the professionalism & salesmanship of the Safford Team. Once more...I must tell you that I am very pleased & happy with this "total package" of a machine that has transformed a 4 door sedan into a sexy & beastly sports car that I have become a proud owner of. Thank you Safford...Thanks to all the above folks I have mentioned as well as all of the "behind the scenes" associates that make this possible for a customer to be as happy as I am with my new "girl". The only part of your process that we did not care for was the miscommunication between those on the sales floor (Mrs. Darlene) and your finance department (Mr. Scott). I would and have recommended this dealership and salesperson based primarily upon the customer services provided by our salesperson, Scott Rader. This is the third automobile we have purchased from salesperson based primarily upon the customer services provided by our salesperson, Scott Rader. This is the third automobile we have purchased from Scott and the third we have purchased from Safford Dodge. We are very satisfied at this time with our automobiles and are thinking these will be our last purchases but if we change our mind, we will definitely look up Scott Rader. He has made purchasing a car go from something I dreaded and would often wait in the car until the deal was done to a very pleasant and friendly experience. Scott is like a part of the family. I'm sure we help support him with our automobile purchases. I believe that he is very honest and is committed to helping his customers make the best deal for them and also a good representation for the dealership. I can't say this about other salespersons we have dealt with. When we take our automobiles in for service, we definitely look Scott up to chat with him. My husband saw the 2011 Dodge Dakota truck on Thursday, talked with Scott, and we were back to make the purchase on Friday. I found my car on line, and after the comfort level I had with Jerry, took a train from Philadelphia to Fredericksburg, VA (where Jerry picked me up)to purchase my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I had a great exprience during my most recent visit to Safford Dodge. I initinally went to Safford dodge to see a car I saw online that i was interested in. Not long after I got out my car, I was greeted by one of the mechanics or service tech who just happen to be walking across the lot to their other buliding. He immediately asked me if I needed help, I told him I did, and he immeditely went to get one of their sales professionals. Shortly After I was greeted by Scott Rader, I advised him of my reason for my visit and he immediately set out to find the vehicle I saw online. However, during our search for that vechile, I happen to see another vehicle that I liked even better and wanted more info on. Scott advised that that vehicle just arrived and he would get me all the details on it. Scott went out of his was to speak to the service manager, who was also very helpful and was able to give a brief description of the vehicle and within minutes Scott had pull the vehicle into the garage and allowed my Wife and I to take a closer look at. Needless to say I purchase the vehicle and I'm extremely happy with it. Thanks More
I began looking for a new truck a few weeks ago to replace my 2005 Nissan Titan. I considered purchasing a new 2012 Chevy 2500 HD. After researching and comparing the Chevy, Ford, Nissan, and of cou replace my 2005 Nissan Titan. I considered purchasing a new 2012 Chevy 2500 HD. After researching and comparing the Chevy, Ford, Nissan, and of course Dodge, I was surprised how much power and towing capacity I could get from the RAM 1500. I have to say I was pretty set on purchasing the 2500 HD. That being said, my wife and I went and test drove the 2500 HD. We liked the truck, but when we started negotiating with the dealer they were more into reducing the features in the truck than trying to work with us on what we thought was a reasonable price for our trade. So, we headed to a Dodge dealership near our house. The sales representative showed us the RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn. We took the truck out on a test drive. It was night and day. The overall looks inside and out, comfort, features, performance, and overall quality. Needless to say we were hooked. The dealership was very professional and respectful but we could not reach a deal. After now being almost driven to find the truck that could fill my now over urging desire to own the RAM 1500, I began to do what every good American does, I went to Google for the answer. I searched for dealers within 100 miles that had the RAM 1500 Longhorn (white) that I now needed. I spoke to Troy on the phone explained what I was interested in; he assured me that we could come to a mutual agreement. This was on a Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday), so I had priorities. I had to go take care of three horses, get from Southern Maryland to Fredericksburg VA and be back in time for the game. My wife and I drove up to Fredericksburg, arriving there about 3:30. Troy had the truck waiting for us. He immediately met us; we did the official introductions and signed a couple doc's. He had us in the truck for a test drive within 15 minutes. We came back and the lady behind us (sorry I can't remember her name, she was awesome though) worked feverishly with the used car department to get us a deal on our 2005 Titan, and then Troy worked with Terry on the financing end of the deal. The entire experience was very good for my wife and I. The three folks we worked with were exceptional and made it fun to purchase the new truck. We truly thank them all for their efforts. I did contact the Chevrolet Dealer and cautioned him that if he wanted to sell Chevy trucks, make sure potential clients do not test drive the RAM 1500 first….
