I was trying the impossible. Trading a car with $5000 in negative equity and walk away feeling not totally beat up. I absolutely love my new Jeep Patriot and am very satisfied with the deal I got. Was it the best deal in the world? No, but the customer service was outstanding. I was in and out in a relatively short period of time and left with my dignity intact. Thank you to all the staff at Safford for creating the most pleasant buying experience I've ever had. I will be back when it's time to purchase another vehicle. More
When we got the truck it smelled of smoke. My husband took it back to get the smell out & get a chip in the windshield fixed. He felt like an inconvenience to the dealership. But he was treated terrible by the finance department & the other sales associates. Because of what we observed we will never deal with this dealership again. We have bought three vehicles from this dealership & will not do it again. We also had our son-in-law drop keys off to a car we traded in & hand it to an associate, but our sales guy got blamed for missplacing them when he was never handed the keys nor did he have possession of them. I work in Human Resource for a very large corporation & would never accept this kind of treatment to any of my employees or customers. I have posted to my facebook not to shop at your dealership & for other's to spread the word. I will also be taking further action because what we observed is a type of abuse & discrimination. Our salesman, Tom Chore, was fantastic to work with. He is genuinely interested in his customers and wants to satisfy them in the entire buying experience. He may have a small language barrier, however, that is pale in comparison to his efforts in making a sale for the company and putting the customer in a vehicle they want. Tom is a true asset, but as we personally witnessed, he is treated badly by other assosciates even in front of the customer! More

I enjoyed my overall experience. Orlando was very knowledgable, helpful, and accommodating. He was very attentive to my needs, and didn't just try to push the "most expensive" or something that I did knowledgable, helpful, and accommodating. Before taking us out on the lot Orlando asked us everything we needed and/or wanted, once doing that he showed us all the vehicles that matched our needs and didn't once insist on showing us somethi everything we needed and/or wanted, once doing that he showed us all the vehicles that matched our needs and didn't once insist on showing us something out of our range and/or need. He handled our trade in while we were checking out the vehicles so once we came to him with our choices we wanted, he had prices to show and talk us about; so there wasn't much time spend waiting and feeling like we were "wasting our time". By the time I showed up at Safford I was near done with the search for a new vehicle due to the experience that I received at a few dealerships prior. However, my friend convinced me to just stop by Safford and see what they had to offer. I'm so thankful that I did because I ended up leaving in a brand new Charger that fits my needs and personality. Working with Ben was wonderful; he helped me find a car that was safe for children as well as great on gas and something that was still “sporty” and fun. Needless to say I would recommend Safford of Fredericksburg to anyone in the market for a new vehicle and if you want a car salesman that isn’t pushy and is knowledgeable, considerate and with a sense of humor than as for Ben. He made our purchase an enjoyable one and we look forward to working with him and the lovely staff at Safford in the future. More

He is all that you want in a salesman -- honest, attentive to your needs, quick with follow up and so easy to work with. We have purchased many cars over the years and this was our easiest (and with no surprises). He is very upfront which is what you should always expect but don't always get in car buying. I'd recommend him to anyone!! More
The last few years of my life have been very difficult for my family and me. I technically did not need a new car because I have an '89 that was getting me to Points A and B, but, I knew that sometime in for my family and me. I was very apprehensive as I have had financial problems and had it ingrained in my head that I simply would not be able to get a new car (much less the one that I really wanted)! Boy, was I wrong?!? From my first phone conversation with Joan, my words of encouragement from Leo, the warm welcome for Troy (who greeted me outside as I pulled up to the dealership)and Scott , who had me laughing the entire time I was signing my life away, I could not have been more pleased with the level of service, tenacity, and kindness that this group of individuals gave. They made my, "I can't" into a "We will, so, you can!" I am very happy and could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much! More
