I came in looking for a quality used truck and to get a good amount of money for my trade in car. I wanted to go from a mini cooper to a 1500 RAM truck. They gave me a good fair price for my car that was quite spot on to the KBB price. Orlando came highly recomended to me by two friends who had dealt with in the last few weeks and I could see why. He kept me comfortable out of the heat and sun and offered to get me a soda while I waited on getting a price on my trade. We took a few test rides in different trucks, and I was quite happy with the vehicle I was able to find. Orlando worked hard at getting me a better rate and getting my loan approved. I was more than happy to have the vehicle well cleaned and a full tank of gas filled in. I went to several dealerships before I was brought in to this one and I would gladly go back in the future. I cannot send enough praise for this dealership and it's staff. You can tell when talking to them that they have your best interest in mind and are very open and fair in their pricing. There was absolutely no attempt on their behalf to pull a fast one or pressure me in any way. They even arranged transportation from the airport with a wonderful man named Willard. I had saved and researched for 2 years and had many negative experiences with dealers in my area who treated me in such a disrespectful way that I had put off buying the Dodge Challenger until the right one came up. Their car (which I found online) was priced very VERY well and they even helped me by making a better offer on top of that. The car was certified pre-owned and when I saw it, it looked better than the photos. If you are on the fence at all about buying a car, give them a call and you'll immediately know that these guys are teaching the master class in customer service. The car is perfect, I cannot be happier. I'm a proud owner of my dream car, and a proud customer of Safford. My daughter was in need of a car, with a medium sized down payment, and not much credit. We had been to two dealerships (in our area), one completely turned her down, the other was willing to work with h down payment, and not much credit. My husband and I have always bought all of our cars from Safford Dodge, so he recommended we go there. That is when we were introduced to Scott for the first time. I'm not going to say that he wasn't skeptical at first as to whether or not they could do anything for my daughter, but he was willing to try and didn't turn his back on us. Turns out, my daughter got her dream jeep (she has been wanting a jeep for around 8 years now, it was even the color she preferred)! The process was painless, the payments are right in the price range we asked for, we got a good price, etc. Through the whole experience Scott was just the best salesperson we could have asked for. He wasn't pushy, but informative. Just a really layed back guy who really wanted to help my daughter. He was professional, yet really made us feel at home. He told me that customers like my daughter make his job worthwhile because he knew how happy he had made all of us. She was soooooo excited. I would, without a doubt, recommend Scott Radar (and Safford Dodge/Jeep) to anyone who is in the market for a new or used car. We had a great experience overall, and as my husband and I have been repeat customers in the past....we will be customers for life!! More
I found a real gem! Darlene Breeden, you rock!!! Darlene truly rescued me. Had to buy in less than a week. I only had time after work and I commute daily from Williamsburg to Manassas/Woodbridge V Darlene truly rescued me. Had to buy in less than a week. I only had time after work and I commute daily from Williamsburg to Manassas/Woodbridge VA. So, late Thursday evening and rental car would be gone Friday, I was desperate and Safford Automotive's showroom lights were still on. Darlene asked questions---then she listened to what I wanted. More importantly, she listened to what I needed. She knew her cars---where they were on the lot, the cost, and what was special about each one. SHe never acted like she was in a hurry and walked back and forth with me as I pondered my way to a decision. Darlene never looked at her watch and I got there the dealership was scheduled to close in an hour. Darlene, and Mr. McCallum and all his financing staff worked as if they had all the time in the world to answer questions. They took care of returning my rental and I drove home that night in LUXURY and PEACE. And, there's more...at DMV next day, there was a 'computer'problem...Mr. McCallum @ Safford said "come over right now". I did and within 15 minutes, I had my new registration and my 'special plates'(bought for me by my late Marine Sgt son)were now on my new(to me)Jeep. Darlene and dMr. McCallum were right there again getting things done, acting like they did not have any other customer but me! A GREAT experience with people who really know what 'customer service' means. More

I have never enjoyed buying new vehicles because it is normally very time consuming and high pressure sales. Our experience at Stafford did not involve any pressure and it was relatively fast. Ben Clarke showed us several vehicles and finally found the one that the Mrs. wanted. The retired policeman that we next met with was totally down home and again, no high pressure. We live much closer to dealerships in Maryland but the experience and the friendliness of the Stafford staff made it very much worthwhile. More
