Approximately 4 months ago, as I was at a critical moment in deciding which vehicle I would purchase, I had narrowed the choices down to a Toyota Avalon and possibly an SUV (Venza) crossover, or a Nissan SUV in deciding which vehicle I would purchase, I had narrowed the choices down to a Toyota Avalon and possibly an SUV (Venza) crossover, or a Nissan SUV. During the election, I saw a clip that erroneously stated that Jeeps were going to be sent overseas. I began to seriously look at the Jeeps at that time. The more I reviewed the product, the more it appealed to me. I fell in love with the Grand Cherokee and requested info online. The person who responded to my request was Mr. Roy Headley. From that point forward, he kept me abreast of the product. While inquiries from other salespeople at other dealerships seem to overwhelm with emails, I found wonderful qualities in the way Mr. Headley struck the right tone in salesmanship. I have never liked feeling pressure from sales people: it's guite a turn off for me personally. I like to be informed about the product (beyond my own research) and decide whether it's the product for me. Mr. Headley respected that. I received immediate responses to my many questions, and it was an easy choice for me when I decided it was the right time to come in for a test drive. I knew that I would prepare myself to purchase, if the Jeep's ride appealed to me. Unexpectedly, Mr. Headley had a situation on the date/day we had agreed to come in. However, he solicited help from his colleague, Gary Southall. We, my husband and I were very impressed with Gary's determination to inform and respond to our questions on that day. We walked into a dealership where the overall feel in the atmosphere was very pleasant and professional, as my husband and I had over the years experienced quite the opposite from other dealerships. Ms. Joan Bays' demeanor was warm and highly engaging on the day of our purchase as well as when we returned a couple days later to correct an error on my part. We are informing our friends and family about your dealership; we love the reception we encountered and are most likely to return to make other purchases. We would be proud to send our friends and family to Safford of Fredericksburg. Thank you for being such wonderful professionals and for making us feel that you weren't just trying to sell a car, but truly interested in helping us realize the car of our hearts' desire. My wife and I came in for an oil change on her car and ended up looking around the lot. We met Chris and talked with him about a Dodge Truck we found in the lot. He talked to us about it and all the new ended up looking around the lot. We met Chris and talked with him about a Dodge Truck we found in the lot. He talked to us about it and all the new changes coming to diesel trucks in the future, he then asked us if we wanted to test drive it. Of course we did and that's when I knew this was the truck for me. He helped us get through all the paperwork painlessly and was very friendly and accommodating the entire time. We had lots of questions which he was able to answer for us and what I really liked was if he didn't know the answer he went and asked someone and got us the answer. He also did a warm handoff with the finance department and that smoothed our transition to talk about the money side of everything. I think what made this experience so great was all the little things Chris did for us. He scrapped the base stickers off of my trade in truck, really spent time talking to us about all the safety features, the gadgets, and the fact that he showed us how to use things really made it a great experience. I first contacted the dealership looking for a deal on a gently used late model Chrysler Town & Country. I had searched a 200 mile radius on the internet and Safford had a vehicle I was interested. When I found out Chrysler was offering discounts on new 2013 models I started comparing prices. Safford gave me a great price so I drove a few hours to take advantage of the deal. I was very impressed with everyone who helped us; particularly Angela who took my original call and our sales representative, Ben Clarke. We have a 1997 Town & Country that still runs great and has given us good service for the past 16 years. I will hate to part with it but love our new vehicle and can only keep so many cars around. I have been shopping for a new truck for two months dealing primarily with Chevy and Toyota. Ben was positive, driven, flexible and did what he needed to do to sell me a truck. The overall energy was outstanding and the long term goal - "we want to earn your business for years to come - exactly what I would expect of a car dealer. Walking into other dealers was like going to a dentist, not at Safford. I just want to say thank you to everyone. You have a great product, great outlook and great staff. More
