I am a female 73 years old. I have purchased three vehicles from Safford Dodge and would not go any where else. I also have all my service done at this dealer and am treated like a VIP every time I g vehicles from Safford Dodge and would not go any where else. I also have all my service done at this dealer and am treated like a VIP every time I go in. I have never waited longer than 1/2 hr to 45 minutes for a service call. I am notified if my wait will be longer than 1/2 hour. Gil always makes me aware of any specials that are available and treats my vehicle as if it were his own. I worked with Al Allee on the purchase of my 2014 Jeep Patriot. He made sure I got a fair trade in on the 2010 Jeep Patriot and that I had all the extras I wanted on my 2014. Whenever I go there everyone says hello and asks if I need anything. I recommend this dealership to my friends and family all the time. More
I was told the vehicle i was interested in would be transferred to the Safford dealership in Tyson Corner, Va. I arrived at my appointment time and the manager Mark Cowdin told me the Durango was not a transferred to the Safford dealership in Tyson Corner, Va. I arrived at my appointment time and the manager Mark Cowdin told me the Durango was not at his dearlership. and he was unclear as to where the vehicle was. (bad communication between dealership managers???).. 1. My impression was that the Durango i was interested in was NOT being transferred and never was. 2. Why schedule an appointment for a potential customer to see a vehicle which is not there and waste my time driving to Tysons Corner?????? 3. I was willing to increase my offer had i seen the vehicle in-person as the dealer price seem to be pretty firm however, this used 2012 Durango was over priced by at least $1500. 4. I can't do business with people like this.. i have money to spend.........at another dealership! More
My husband and I live between Fredericksburg and Richmond but I work closer to the Richmond area so my first instinct when looking for a new Jeep was to go to another well known Jeep dealership in Ashland wh but I work closer to the Richmond area so my first instinct when looking for a new Jeep was to go to another well known Jeep dealership in Ashland where I had purchased my first Jeep 10+years ago. I will NEVER EVER buy another vehicle from them. From now on, SAFFORD IN FREDERICKSBURG WILL GET ALL OF MY BUSINESS!!!! The purchase experience was awesome but what stands out to me more is my recent service visit. I took my Jeep in because my TPMS sensor was lit up when we bought it and assumed it was a matter of balancing all of the air pressure. It turned out not to be the case so I made an appointment to bring it in. The lovely lady who made my appointment was awesome. Then when I got there, the gentlemen that greeted me were even more awesome; made me feel right at home. It turned out to be a fluky thing that caused the technicians to try several things to fix the issue. It took a little longer than expected but that was ok because Jay came out and kept me informed constantly. It was like being at a hospital when a loved one is in surgery and the doctors come out to tell you what's going on, only instead of a loved one, it was my precious Wrangler! I totally expected them to tell me that the previous owners had done something wacky with the tires and that I would have to live with that indicator light on until the end of time...but Jay was outstanding, and was adamant that they would not let me leave until the problem was fixed. I could not be more ecstatic about my experience yesterday. Thanks Safford! You guys are awesome! More
I would absolutely recommend this dealership. We initially spoke with Joan Bays when we went for a test drive. She was fantastic! There was absolutely no pressure during the purchase process. It was refreshing to speak with someone that had the same mindset that if we don't have what you're looking for we're not going to try and sell you something you don't want. We ended up special ordering a 2014 Rubicon. Wes Morrison placed the order and 54 days later it arrived at the dealership. Wes was very enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about our vehicle and its options. He wouldn't let us leave until he ensured that we were satisfied with knowing how to use the electronics other options in the vehicle. We have worked with this dealership before about a year and a half ago to buy a brand new jeep grand Cherokee. We came back a second time to just glance around at the different options. Dario came out to a and a half ago to buy a brand new jeep grand Cherokee. We came back a second time to just glance around at the different options. Dario came out to ask us what he could help us with and immediately my husband and I felt comfortable. We we're trying to decide between a jeep wrangler 4 door and and the rubicon version in 2 door. Dario remained very pleasant and patient with us throughout the process . We decided we needed to talk about the purchase over lunch and he was able to let us take the car to where we were going. We decided to buy the car that day and he negotiated with us on the price to where we felt comfortable. We didn't feel pushed or overwhelmed at any point. We felt very at ease with the whole process in fact. His love for sales and cars certainly shines through to his personality! If we need a used or new jeep in the future we will never go anywhere but Safford! Thank you Dario for making the process so pain free! More

I wanted to work with this dealer because they are near my home. At first we could not get together on the specific model or price. Prior to going to another dealer 50 miles away I decided to stop in and my home. At first we could not get together on the specific model or price. Prior to going to another dealer 50 miles away I decided to stop in and look over their inventory. I met Wes the salesman and gentleman I had been conversing with over the past few days. I wanted a particular Grand Cherokee. They suggested I look over another one they had. They let me take the new car home to see if I liked it. Next day when I returned I was not sure I wanted the alternate Cherokee. So, I offered a ridiculously low price. Wes was with me all the time. We got involved with Joan and Leo and I couldn't pass up what they offered. They worked hard to make a deal. As a follow up we love the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland model that we bought. And the staff that we mentioned above were attentive, cheerful and pleasant thru the whole process. Stop in and see Wes. He even took time with us to go over all the tech stuff the next day for over an hour. Real laid back guy. Joan and Leo are close by. More

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had! It was actually enjoyable the entire way through. Wes Morrison, my salesman was outstanding. He absolutely knew everything there was to know about the vehicle I purchased. He made sure I understood everything about it, he even sat with me to set up my phone to since with the stereo system. He answered every question I had and was super nice! Every other person I dealt with was also great. Everyone made me feel important and treated me wonderfully. From the managers, the parts department, financing and customer service areas, everyone was amazing. I can't say enough good things about my experience here. Especially Wes Morrison. He even called to check on how it was going a couple of days later. I also had protection packages applied inside and outside of my vehicle. The service was great. I look forward to working with the service department when it comes time for the oil change. I have and will continue to recommend this dealership and most definitely Wes Morrison to everyone I know!
