Ruined months of my life, and didn’t care I’m writing this because Safford management won, and I give up, but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Just one more person being taken advan I’m writing this because Safford management won, and I give up, but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Just one more person being taken advantage of like this is too many. I brought my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD into Safford Of Fredericksburg’s service department in December because it would go into limp mode. It sounded like a charge leak, the only code i had was for underboost which is usually caused by a charge leak. The first test the dealership SAID they performed was a leak test, which cost me 174$. They gave the Jeep back and said it was the turbo charger actuator because there was NO LEAK. Of course that requires them to change the entire turbocharger so I politely declined. Over the next month, I spent over 300 on new seals, sensors and even sent the actuator out to get tested, which tested OK. So I knew it HAD TO BE A LEAK. After buying a SECOND CAR to get me to work, I disassembled the entire charge system to find a GIANT HOLE just out of sight that was causing the leak where a sensor had worked it’s way out. A leak test would have easily found this if it were ACTUALLY done. I called the diesel service manager who referred me to her manager, who ignored my calls for over a week, so I called his manager, who answered my call, said he would look into it and call me back the following Monday... that was 3 weeks ago.... so they win.. I give up. I paid them to perform a test that they never did, most likely so that they could quote me for the most expensive job they could think of....It cost me countless hours in my driveway, over 300 dollars of parts and a second car!.. and they’ll probably do the same thing to you because they don’t care. I should have learned my lesson when a year ago I asked them to perform a power steering fluid flush, then I waited 3 hours in the waiting room just so they could tell me that my power steering pump was leaking.. which it was not, it was oil blow-by from the ccv on the front of the engine... but they gave me a huge quote for the pump replacement... again.. I politely declined.. a year later and my power steering fluid is just as full as it was then More

Brittney reached out to me during this process to help along the way and set my appointment up. She was consistant in reminding me when my appointment was which I absolutely needed and appreciate given my busy schedule. Brittney reassured me that things would wlork out just fine and she was in communication with Richard and I in email. Richard and I talked via email for a couple days and through his consistancy, kindness and understanding, I was confident that he would pick out the perfect vehicle for me. I did not feel the NEED to come in and test drive first or even see the vehicle. He had already gotten my numbers figured out and got the deal sealed prior to me ever stepping foot in the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership Richard had already chosen a vehicle for me and had it parked upfront. All I had to do was finish the paperwork and transfer my items from my old car to my new truck. When he pointed to the truck he picked out, I was in Awe. It was everything I hoped it would be. Perfect color exterior and interior. All the features I wanted and more. and only 14 miles on it. The process was was perfect and painless. I plan to keep my Jeep for a long time and will be referring anyone I know who is looking for a vehicle. When the time comes for me to upgrade, I will definitely be calling and emailing Richard Perna. This was no question the best car buying experience I have EVER had. More

Best Car Buying Experience Ever! Shopping anywhere with a toddler is next to impossible, but the staff at Safford were SO understanding and helpful. We were given balloons, snacks, and they even had a little area for our son to watch tv and gave us the remote! Everyone was really patient with him which made it a much better experience because he was ALL over the place! As for the rest of the visit, I have never worked with a better salesman (Gary) or finance department. They gave us a fair offer for our tradeins and were willing to negotiate. They didn't "nickle and dime us," in my husbands words. No ridiculous fees, no hidden costs. They weren't trying to get as much money as possible out of us. They did try and sell extended warranty and a protective clear coat, but they weren't pushy about it. Definitely an honest, easy place to buy a car! It was a great experience! Gary was excellent to work with. He went above and beyond by going to the Warrenton lot and picking up the car we were interested in himself (we saw it online) and bringing it to Fredericksburg to save us another hour drive! He made everything as easy as possible and was so patient with our son. He wasn't pushy, and definitely the farthest thing possible from "sleazy salesman." He was kind and honest and worked hard to make sure we were happy, and we are!! We're in love with our new car! If we ever get another vehicle, we will definitely go back to Safford. Hopefully we can request Gary again, but if not, that would be fine too! All the other sales people were great too! Thank you Safford for being honest, patient, and for making this car buying experience our best one yet! More

I had corresponded with Internet Manager and was told I qualified for the Everyones price of $43,000 & there was some stipulations for the conditional price. So I make the two hour drive to find out, when my sales associate brings back the final figures they are working from $48,000. I asked why are we working from $48,000, when the internet said Everyone's price of $43,000. I was told that they had made a mistake at there Warrenton dealership & they were fixing the problem. So I come home this evening to find the same truck on Safford Dodge website for Everyone's price for $42,061 & Conditional price $40,061. Beware of this dealership before you make the drive. More

Not be told "you have to get in line" for a particular service. Regardless of whether it is in another department. Time wasted, and not so much as an apology. Just a laundry list of excuses as to why the commitment could no be met in a timely fashion. More

Now what I DONT UNDERSTAND is how the heck our maintenance coverage through MOPAR got cancelled when we told the gentleman NOT TO CANCEL IT. This happened when we got to pay off the rest of the loan, great thing for our young family! We wanted to cancel the gap insurance since we now own it and have it fully covered through our car insurance. Being a military family, we travel, constantly. We also pay my MOPAR account on time, which I am already over 50% paid for the MOPAR Loan. My issue is that not once,not twice, but THREE-FOUR TIMES we have tried to get our oil change, which should have been covered if the finance department would have LISTENED to their costumers. Nope, that's not the case once they don't "own" you anymore with the vehicle. You can leave numerous voicemails, which I would call 1-2 x week and NOT get anyone to return it. I understand, busy right? Wrong!! I went up their personally. Oh my goodness, I felt like royalty, people there to assist right away, not happy for me because I had to tote my cranky 2 year old. Again, this dealership was great at first, did all they could to get me approved for a loan (amazing!) but once you got your own car,no more loan means no more quality service and no more concern for their costumer. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. And not to mention a huge loss, definitely concerning thru a military paycheck going into a service no longer recieve because the person who "helped us" screwed us. Thanks a lot JEEP OF SAFFORD! More
