Unexpected problem My van was driving normal the night before, Wednesday morning the van couldn’t get out of its own way. Took it to a local tranny shop who checked it o My van was driving normal the night before, Wednesday morning the van couldn’t get out of its own way. Took it to a local tranny shop who checked it out and said the problem is the engine not the tranny. I drove to the dealership and was greeted by a friendly face. Martha hooked up her computer to the van and confirmed there was a problem with the number two cylinder in the left head. She looked it up in the computer and said not to worry this is covered under the extended warranty for this part. She kept me updated every day and my van was ready in three days. This was excellent service by Martha and the rest of the team at Safford Dodge. Thanks for getting our lives back to normal so fast. More

Just not right I had a terrible experience at Safford yesterday. I was looking to buy a used van from Safford for my handicapped friend. I live in Northern Virginia I had a terrible experience at Safford yesterday. I was looking to buy a used van from Safford for my handicapped friend. I live in Northern Virginia about an hour and 20 minutes away. Before leaving, the salesman texted that “I see a lot of vehicles come and go and this van is in great shape”. I was surprised to find that the car had: 1) rust with peeling paint, 2) the automatic hatch was broken (estimated repair at about $600), 3) the interior roof upholstery was bubbling and torn where it meets the windshield, and 4) the fire wall material that separates the engine from the passenger compartment was lying on the rear part of the engine. I found the reporting of the condition of the car to be misleading and unethical. However, what was most disturbing is that they were willing to sell an unsafe van to a handicapped lady. The manager offered to sell the car for $260 less than the agreed price and refused to fix the safety issue. Moreover, this dealer added on a $799 processing fee. Safford cannot be trusted by the public. More
