Runaround I bought the Service package with my Jeep Cherokee and have returned at every 10,000 mile interval (now at 60K) for my service. 3 out of 6 times there I bought the Service package with my Jeep Cherokee and have returned at every 10,000 mile interval (now at 60K) for my service. 3 out of 6 times there have been issues. The first time was a lost tire lock. Not sure how that happens. The second time was a plastic flap that they did not close properly for the oil drain under the vehicle. It started dragging a mile from the shop and claimed it was my fault. The third was the other day. Jeep has moved to separate service area with stated hours until 6 PM. I arrived at 5:15 for Oil Change and service. Waited for them to process then be told they already a car in the bay so could not take anymore. The service hours should say, we stop taking vehicles after 4. If you walk into a restaurant 10 minutes before they close, you are served, not sure where Safford Jeep lost that customer service point. They sent me over to the Chrysler/Dodge service area (which I was sent away from last time to go to the Jeep Service) to wait in line and maybe they could fit me in. The guys in that service area were helpful and did complete the work. However, I arrived at 5:15 and departed at 9:45. They promise you the world when they sell you the maintenance package, but don't deliver on that promise. I can say that it was my 3rd vehicle purchased there, but I will drive north to buy again in the future. More

Unexpected problem My van was driving normal the night before, Wednesday morning the van couldn’t get out of its own way. Took it to a local tranny shop who checked it o My van was driving normal the night before, Wednesday morning the van couldn’t get out of its own way. Took it to a local tranny shop who checked it out and said the problem is the engine not the tranny. I drove to the dealership and was greeted by a friendly face. Martha hooked up her computer to the van and confirmed there was a problem with the number two cylinder in the left head. She looked it up in the computer and said not to worry this is covered under the extended warranty for this part. She kept me updated every day and my van was ready in three days. This was excellent service by Martha and the rest of the team at Safford Dodge. Thanks for getting our lives back to normal so fast. More
