I went to the Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat of Fredericksburg dealership on 5202 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 last week to get my gas tank lifetime warranty replaced on my 2006 Do Fredericksburg dealership on 5202 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 last week to get my gas tank lifetime warranty replaced on my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T. They said I needed my tires realigned so they charged me $191! It was my first time aligning them since I got it in March so it seemed okay. Then they ordered the tank and I brought it back two days later. But when I brought it back they checked the alignment again and told me it was WAY off. So either they just got $191 out of me and didn’t do the job or they just tell everyone their tires need alignment. So they said they’ll realign them free of charge. While it was in the dealerships care, they broke a part connecting to the gas tank which they ordered for free and replaced it. They finally called and said my charger is ready but they had to replace “clamps on the gas tank” that they’re charging me $100 for. They never called me ahead of replacing the clamps to let me know there’ll be an up charge. Mind you, I’m only 17 working a cashiers job. My money is finite. They’re trying to run my pockets and they never told me that there would be hidden charges after I get my tank replaced. I tried getting in contact with the service manager, Brett Barker. He ended up saying he couldn’t do anything about it until Chrysler Corp reimbursed him. But Dodge Dealerships are paid to do recalls and warranties. They’re supplied the parts and everything associated with them free of charge. So why would they need reimbursement. Now they’ve been holding my charger hostage unless I pay them $100 but I never gave the okay to fix the clamps that they broke. Seems to me they’re just taking advantage of the fact that I’m 17 and inexperienced. I would NEVER recommend this dealership. Stay clear of these guys, they’re crooks and I’ve yet to get my car back. It’s been like a week without my car. The Service Manager is doing nothing to help! I’m outraged by this dealership and sad to be treated like this by the Mopar Staff. More

I always leave this service location feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I went in for a airbag recall and almost $400 later and the only actual service I received was a $54 oil change - the rest wa and taken advantage of. Safford Fredericksburg Service Top Notch service department. Had some aftermarket work completed.
