FIRST ISSUE: It took a couple of months but I found a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country “Limited” Minivan with 115,000 miles on it locally at Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram SRT of Fredericksburg, VA. We neg 2014 Chrysler Town & Country “Limited” Minivan with 115,000 miles on it locally at Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram SRT of Fredericksburg, VA. We negotiated a price that was $800 Dollars MORE than other more competitively priced vehicles elsewhere in the USA so I overpaid by $800 but they were very firm on their negotiated price. I accepted overpaying the $800 Dollars only because the other Chrysler Town & Country vehicles I had found at lower prices had to be shipped and the cost of shipping balanced it out. BTW, the $800 Dollar over payment basically was a Pure Profit i.e. Rip Off “Dealer Processing Fee” Safford charges all their customers. I was NOT HAPPY ABOUT PAYING THIS “RIP OFF FEE” but I did decide to pay it instead of shipping another Chrysler Town & Country Minivan to me. 2nd ISSUE: I made an appointment on Saturday 9/26/2020 with Eileen Kincer the Sales Person to see and buy this 2014 Chrysler Town & Country “Limited” Minivan. When I got there, they had the Minivan all cleaned up and it looked very nice except for a Horrible Water Spot Problem which was not disclosed to me before I drove the 1.5 Hours and 70+ miles to see the Minivan. This Minivan comes with 2 Electronic Keys that include “Keyless Entry” and “Remote Start” on the key but when I got into the Minivan I was told by Eileen that the Minivan DID NOT HAVE “KEYLESS” PUSH BUTTON START/STOP. In other words I had to dig the key out of my pocket and put it into the ignition EVERYTIME I DROVE THE MINIVAN. It may not sound like a big deal but it is a real pain and nuisance rather than just jumping in and pushing the START/STOP BUTTON. 3rd ISSUE: After paying CASH for the Minivan, I directly asked the Finance Person, Dugluz if I had everything to get my Minivan Registered and Tagged in MD at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and he said YES. I spent MORE THAN 2 HOURS in line only to find out that Dugluz had NOT PROVIDED ME WITH THE TITLE on purpose that I needed to get my Tags for the Minivan. I was LIVID. 4TH ISSUE: In general, I REALLY LIKE THE 2014 Chrysler Town & Country Minivan VERY MUCH. However, I kept thinking that since this Minivan already has “Keyless Entry” and “Remote Start” there must be a way to “ADD” THE “KEYLESS” PUSH BUTTON START/STOP FEATURE. It took me about four months of research to finally figure out that my 2014 Chrysler Town & Country Limited Minivan ACTUALLY ALREADY HAD THE “KEYLESS” PUSH BUTTON START/STOP FEATURE on it. After four months, I got into the Minivan with the “Electronic Key” in my “Pants Pocket” and stuck my finger into the Ignition and PUSHED IT IN AND “IT STARTED” without the key being in the ignition. I found out the only thing that my Minivan was MISSING was the START/STOP “BUTTON” that should have been there IN THE FIRST PLACE as part of the ”Standard Equipment” it came with. This START/STOP BUTTON cost Safford Chrysler less than $10 and requires NO LABOR TO INSTALL IT. So I called Safford Chrysler and asked Eileen Kincer who spoke to Duane the General Manager to mail me the START/STOP “BUTTON”. They said “NO”. UNBELIEVEABLE but on PAR WITH THE REST OF MY EXPERIENCE with this Van Purchase. BOTTOMLINE: In my Sales Career I have worked as an Exceptional Sale Person selling both Lexus and Cadillac and we bent over backwards to have the Integrity and Honesty and to Morally to do the right thing and “TAKE CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS” especially when it came to THE SMALLEST THINGS like a part that cost less than $10, that is missing from a vehicle, and is suppose to be part of the “Standard Equipment” on that vehicle in the first place. Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram SRT in Fredericksburg, VA choses NOT TO BE HONEST, HAS NO INTEGRITY, LIES, and BENDS OVER BACKWARDS TO SAY TO THE CUSTOMER TO, **** OFF. Unfortunately, in this case, all of the BAD PRESS you hear about Car Dealerships in general was ALL TRUE when it came to Safford Chrysler in Fredericksburg, VA. More
