Mr. Pagan, Noone told me initially that the searlt belts were not under warranty and I would have to pay for them. I should have been notified about the cost up front. I had to call 2 times because I was never called back about when the seat belts were in. I called and left a message with the service manager after my dissatisfaction and noone called me back. Also, why did you bury the survey? What good is a survey if you dump the negative ones. Smells a bit fishy. Finally, I understand that I should pay for one of the belts. That why I told your rep about the dog. But I fail to understand how a dog can retract a belt and chew it. That belt had not been used when the dog was in the car. Your rep told me undrr no circumstances would Subaru replace a torn belt. I notified you of the belt issue the first time I brought the car in for a complimentary oil change. That was the first time I ever used your service dept. It had always been an issue like I told the first rep, so it is possible that there was a defect on that belt. This car is a 2024 with about 12k miles that I bought there, and I told you guys about the helt the dog chewed. You handled this wrong from the outset. Because I have no recourse with you all, I must warn others about how you conduct business. Im also stating.my case on other social media as well.

During your visit, you presented your vehicle with one seat belt that had been chewed by your dog and another that was not retracting properly. You kindly offered to pay for the replacement of the first seat belt and believed the second should be covered under warranty. Upon inspection, our technicians discovered that the second seat belt also showed signs of chewing, similar to the first. Unfortunately, this type of damage is not covered by the warranty. We understand your frustration with this outcome and want to ensure that potential customers reading your review have all the pertinent information. Reviews Profile & Settings Rye Subaru Feb 7, 2025 jimkort1 Sales Dept is quite good and responsive. Service dept is horrible! I have a complaint with them and spoke to Subaru of America. My biggest complaint is that I never received a survey after the servicing. I bought a previous Subaru from Westchester Subaru and ALWAYS got a survey. This company fails to send the survey when the customer is dissatisfied. The manager does not respond to phone calls. Brandon Tucker from Subaru of America told me the dealerships are independently owned so they cannot control who gets a survey. Run any numbers and you will have complaints. In my situation, it could have easily been resolved if I was told up front my issue was not under warranty . The extended warranty I paid extra for. But its how the complaint was handled that upsets me. The total for the two seatbelts was around $875. I looked online and a Subaru dealer in Florida had offered the same seatbelts for $235 less than your "discounted" charge. I also fail to see how a dog can pull out a seatbelt and chew it and then have it retract and get stuck. Thats why I repeatedly disagree with the way you are handlung this.
