People generally are more apt to complain on a review site than commend. It's sad. I love this dealership. I love the sales folks, the service staff, and the prices. The prices are very fair, and the site than commend. It's sad. I love this dealership. I love the sales folks, the service staff, and the prices. The prices are very fair, and they also managed to get me top dollar for my trade-in, which made the price even better. I've worked with a couple different sales folk, all very accommodating - showed me things in my price range with the options that were a "must have" for me and let me test drive every vehicle I wanted without a complaint (in fact, with a smile and good conversation). No pressure, nothing rushed, and they even stayed after hours once I made my final decision (yes, I'm one of "those" picky people that wants to make sure everything is JUST RIGHT before making a commitment). The first experience I had with them was with service. After buying a used Honda from another dealer, I took it to them for service. I was completely and totally blown away by the service department. They were the most helpful and accommodating service center I had ever been to (I'm a widow with a 2 year old, so people making things a little easier goes a long way with me). They made my appointments for times that were convenient for me, had what I needed in stock or ready by my appointment, and have either provided a loaner vehicle or entertained my daughter to the extreme while I've had to wait. The "drive feel" after getting it back was like being in a new vehicle each time - everything just worked. If they saw something that was a problem, I'd ask them to show me - the service technician would explain to me what was going on showing what on my van was a problem or soon-to-be problem (I'm not an idiot when it comes to cars, but I can pretend to be when it suits me). Every single person in the company has been nothing but friendly, helpful and over-accommodating. The service prices they charge are VERY fair for dealer standards and not once have I felt they tried to sell me any sort of service that wasn't needed (or soon to be needed). Because of the incredible experiences I had with service before my van got plowed, when I needed a new vehicle, I turned to them. The sales staff was amazing. I was a pain, but they were stellar and I actually enjoyed the whole buying experience. They let me take my time, discussed prices, other possible vehicles that had what I wanted in options, gave me the good bad and ugly - told me what dealership other used vehicles originally came from, and the history of the SUV/van. Not once did I feel even the least bit pressured into one vehicle over another. Overall, I came away feeling perfectly happy with my purchase. Since then, I've taken my Odyssey back for service a few times. Each time it's been nothing but a pleasure. In fact, I always feel 10 times better about my day after leaving the service center. I leave with a smile, my daughter leaves with a smile - their friendliness and courtesy is just downright contagious. The service center offers free wi-fi (and loaner iPads - they even have a couple with kids games), food/beverage, comfortable seating, a nice TV, a little room for the kids to play in complete with some toys (although my daughter prefers the showroom and the new cars). Everyone says hello as they walk by with a smile. They accommodate with loaner vehicles when service will take longer than an oil change. I really just can't say enough about these folks. They're downright awesome and by taking the time to write a good review for them - I hope others in the area will give them a chance. They really are the best of the best. More
I went to Rusty to get my oil changed. My hood latch had been loose for a while and I told them it was hard to open and I should do it. they said it was fine. When I got home and checked, I found my hood la been loose for a while and I told them it was hard to open and I should do it. they said it was fine. When I got home and checked, I found my hood latch had been broken off and put back together with zip ties. It also had immediately broken upon opening, so my car was stuck at home with a hood that wouldn't close. More
I recently purchased a new Honda accord from Rusty Wallace Honda and they gave me the best deal with the least amount of time trying to work me on numbers. Told them what I wanted and what I expected Wallace Honda and they gave me the best deal with the least amount of time trying to work me on numbers. Told them what I wanted and what I expected to pay and they made it work. Definitely one of the best car buying experiences I have had. More
Bought used 2001 Civic Honda believing the salesman when he vouched that he would put his grandaughter in it. Thought it just had a few problems, but upon further checking by own mechanic this vehicle had b he vouched that he would put his grandaughter in it. Thought it just had a few problems, but upon further checking by own mechanic this vehicle had been put on the lot for resale with the driver side window held in place with ties. There was no motor inside the driver side door to work the window or the lock. It also didnt come with a stereo, so when we were able to afford to put one in we found out that the speakers were either blown or had a short in them. When I called to talk to the General Mgr he very rudely told me that there was nothing he could do for me. He stated that it had passed the safety test and therefore deemed fine for resale. Even though I let him know that upon several instances (whether due to the problems with the door or security system)the battery would not stay charged and had already had to be replaced. I will not ever buy another new or used vehicle from this dealership nor would I recommend anyone else to deal with them. More
I went to Rusty Wallace looking to trade a new car in to get something used and a little cheaper, and I had a budget of $19K. I was only at the dealership for about 30 minutes, and this included a test driv get something used and a little cheaper, and I had a budget of $19K. I was only at the dealership for about 30 minutes, and this included a test drive. I left with nothing, and I was not happy about my experience. The sales person I was stuck with was not that informed on any of the vehicles he was trying to show me, and he was asking me to choose a car based on color. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I don't know anything about cars or how to shop for the right car for myself. Color is the last thing I care about when I'm looking for a quality vehicle. I was very disappointed that the sales person only showed me one car that wouldn't even work for me, and he told me I couldn't get into a car unless it was $12K or less. Well, I ended up buying a car at the Airport Honda (I highly recommend Airport Honda to everyone!) and was easily able to purchase a car for about $18K that was newer and nicer than what I was shown at Rusty Wallace. Maybe other people have great expereiences at Rusty Wallace, but mine was disappointing to say the least. More
