Stopped to compare a 2023 Kia Sportage to a 2022 Dodge Durango R/T. I had my mind set on the Durango before stepping foot in this dealership. The service department was extremely helpful and would come to me with updates on my vehicle. It was a fast and seamless process. They also had popcorn and a variety of drinks to choose from! DO NOT purchase a car at Russ Darrow Kia Madison. I purchased a CERTIFIED 2022 Kia Niro EV with just over 3000 miles on it. I did two test drives of the car and each time the car was very dirty. I wa I purchased a CERTIFIED 2022 Kia Niro EV with just over 3000 miles on it. I did two test drives of the car and each time the car was very dirty. I wasn't very concerned about the exterior condition of 2022 certified car with low miles from what I thought was a reputable dealer. Trusting the dealer and their certified pre-owned program, I purchased the car having never sat inside it when it was clean. Immediately upon leaving the lot after paying full asking price for the car and after it was cleaned I noticed the windshield was covered in scratches across the entire field of view from top to bottom and right to left. There are more than 50 visible scratches that can also be felt easily with a fingernail. They impede the view out of the window. A 2022 certified car should never have been sold with a windshield in such poor condition. I contacted the dealer right away to ask them to replace the windshield. They have refused to offer any assistance at all. They will not replace the windshield. Apparently their certified used car program is a pointless marketing scam. This experience has been like something out of a really bad movie where a used car salesperson cheats customers. It is so infuriating and disappointing. More
I appreciate that Russ Darrow is able to get me in and work on my car in a timely fashion, however I left dissatisfied for the second visit in a row. I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation. The tec work on my car in a timely fashion, however I left dissatisfied for the second visit in a row. I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation. The tech texted me and said that my tires weren't wearing evenly and are too far gone. The problem was that he didn't have a recommendation. He said I don't need to replace them but then also didn't rotate them. I left not knowing what is going on or what I should do. Normally I'd expect to have a discussion where they provide a recommendation with pros/cons. I received an inspection video of my vehicle which I've appreciated in the past, but this time the tech was completely inaudible so I had a video of a buzzsaw and someone pointing under my car. They also didn't: mention the recall for my vehicle, reset my maintenance reminder, or suggest any recommended maintenance. When you are paying $100 dollars for an oil change, I'd really expect them to be good at these things. More
