Quick, Easy, and Polite I leased a 2017 Ford Fusion, but my lease was rapidly approaching it's end date, but I was already over miles and still had 3 months to go. I could ha I leased a 2017 Ford Fusion, but my lease was rapidly approaching it's end date, but I was already over miles and still had 3 months to go. I could have bought my vehicle out, but the cost was a bit too high per month, so I looked around for something else. After test driving several makes and models of cars, I couldn't find one that fit my criteria or budget and I couldn't find one that I liked at my local regular dealership. However, I decided to look for the same vehicle, perhaps with more miles or a few less features, and I happened upon the same car at Royal Oak Ford - Fewer miles, different color, same features minus Nav. I went in on a Saturday to check it out and was greeted by Mike Cook, a salesman who immediately welcomed me and asked if I had seen a vehicle on the lot or if I was just looking. After telling him, he was very accommodating and listened more than talked, which was awesome and different from most salesman I had dealt with. He was able to give me information and a test drive on the spot, and helped me settle on a deal even though I still wanted to think it over, since it was a Saturday and I wanted to come in with all the financial and insurance-based decisions to be settled first. Mike helped me through the whole process and provided me with information and "next steps" via text message, calling when more specific information was required. All in all, he was very helpful and the process felt very streamlined on their end. The only reason I don't rate this dealer as a 5/5 is due to some odd processes during the signing docs phase of the process with the manager. I had to inform him that the Certified Pre-Owned vehicles come with one 12 month/12000 miles on top of the original warranty and that it came with a total 7 year/100000 mile drivetrain (adding to the initial 5 year/60000 warranty). He was honestly surprised. He also couldn't tell me whether or not the car's steering wheel had been serviced in lieu of an open recall, which made me hesitant to sign. However, everything has worked out in my favor and I now have a great vehicle. These guys are great and Mike was one of the best folks I have had the pleasure of working with. More
