Tommy White was professional, efficient and expedient. He was knowledgeable about the “A” plan which I used to purchase a new car. James was absolutely fantastic and helping me get a loan with my less than spectacular credit. He really did a lot of sourcing for me and gave me several choices of vehicles and payment plans. with my less than spectacular credit. Bought Bronco last fall with a hard top. I asked the salesman if I could get both hard and soft tops, and he told me I could buy a hard top and add a soft top as an option. I did, and drov I asked the salesman if I could get both hard and soft tops, and he told me I could buy a hard top and add a soft top as an option. I did, and drove the Bronco over the winter and loved it. In the Spring, I opened the soft top to install, and found they had sold me an aftermarket soft top- not the Ford top. I called the dealership to request an exchange or return as the aftermarket top doesn’t fold flat as I had been shown. The sales manager told me that my salesman had been fired and, since he couldn’t ask him about the details of the sale, he would not take the top back or consider an exchange. He told me it was my problem, not his and that he wasn’t interested in pursuing it. I went onto install the soft top, since they wouldn’t take it back. As soon as it was installed, it turned out the front latches wouldn’t release. I contacted the manufacturer of the soft top, and they shared that the top was defective, but since it was purchased through the dealership, and a recourse would have to be through them and their warranty. I brought the top back to the dealership, and after they had it for three days, they told me that the company they subcontract that work too, would not support that top. This was interesting, because the sales manager told me this was the only top that Ford sells and supports A few days later, the next time it rained, the front of the car was flooded with water. I brought the bronco back to the dealership, and they said they would pursue it with the soft top manufacturer. I didn’t hear anything for a week. When I returned to the dealership to find out what was happening, they told me that the manufacturer had requested photographs of the top, which they took. During the initial inspection by the company that didn’t support the top, part of the molding was removed over the airbags on the pillars, and not reinstalled. I asked if this could be reinstalled, and I was told that I would have to wait until all the other repairs happened at the same time. It’s now approximately two months later, and the last word was that the soft top manufacturer had the part they recognized was defective on backorder, and it would be several weeks before it might be delivered. After the car flooded several more times , I reached out to the dealership again to ask if they would uninstall the soft top and put the hardtop back on while we waited for the piece since water was running across the airbags, through the dash and around the speakers as well as soaking the carpeting. I received a response that they would look into that possibility, that was a week ago , and I still haven’t heard anything back. Although the service manager that has been working with me in the service department is very pleasant, it’s clear that the dealership has little to no interest in resolving the problem with any kind of urgency. This is my second new car purchase at this dealership, and will certainly be my last. Buyer beware I guess. More
