BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Had an EXTREMELY disappointing experience at Royal Nissan. They found a quote I did on kelly blue book for my 2016 pathfinder and contacted me on Saturday, offering what sounded li experience at Royal Nissan. They found a quote I did on kelly blue book for my 2016 pathfinder and contacted me on Saturday, offering what sounded like an amazing deal. 84 months financing, special pricing, top dollar for my trade and no money down. They also guaranteed they could keep me in my current note range. I live about two hours away from the dealership and made it very clear that I did not want to make the drive if this was not a guarantee. I was assured I would be “very happy with the deal”. They ran my credit, I sent them photos of my current vehicle, sent them the exact mileage and my payoff quote. Was still assured they would get me into a 2020 pathfinder with no issue, that all i had to do was “come pick out a car”. So, I make the drive and am instantly told that “the manager that made that deal for you went home early today and the current manager said that the only deal we can get you is, $1800 down and a $681/month payment ($250 increase from my current note)”. I couldn’t help but laugh. I asked why this other manager was SO confident and guaranteed this other deal and my sales guy Jacob said that all he could see is that he was ball parking it and hoping I would settle for other terms if necessary once I got there. I was LIVID....the next offer they had was that i could just buy the 2020 without trading in my 2016. I was appalled. And it didn’t help that the other managers there refused to even make eye contact with me let alone actually come over and apologize for the inconvenience. It was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had at a dealership. Thank you Royal Nissan for wasting 5 hours of my time, a full tank of gas and for adding about 200 extra unnecessary miles on my vehicle!!! More
