I was completely turned off by my experience at Rt 46 Automall. Nancy was very nice, but I felt swindled in the end. Let me explain. I had received a 'lease trade in certificate' valued at $1000 in the mail from Rt 46 Authomall/ Nissan and then called and spoke twice to Mariella. She played herself off as a saleswoman and quoted me $269 per month for a Rogue. I confirmed with her three times on the phone that the certificate would serve as the $1000 down payment and that the payments would be $269 per month. She assured me that this was correct. This is the reason that I drove twenty minutes out of the way and came into R 46 automall despite the horribly cheesy commercials and terrible reputation. When my boyfriend and I got out of the car, the sales woman actually came outside of the building to greet us- a little strange, but I didn't think much of it until now when I realize that they are all probably so cut throat that this is what they need to resort to (actually hunting you down in the lot!) When we came into the dealership some stupid hip hop station was blasting- really classy- and no one turned it down. It was actually funny- the place was a complete dump and the offensive music only made it that much funnier to us! We went on a test drive- we had to drive around pressing the panic button to find the car- a little strange and unprofessional- a decent dealership would have located the car and brought it to us. Anyway, the test drive was fine, uneventful. We went back to work out the numbers and I quickly realized that the $269 was out the window- unless of course I put $6000 down on the lease- a far cry from the $0 down my saleswoman wannabe Mariella quoted me. It was explained that the whole '$269 per month thing' was contingent upon having graduated within 6 months, being a veteran, a loyal customer, blah blah blah- complete nonsense. Nancy quoted me $441 with $1500 down- (or something like that) and then the real fun began- she brought out the big guns- a big goon named Rich Catalano. He was pushy, rude and unprofessional. He barked numbers at us and when my boyfriend expressed his concern that this was a bait and switch, he pretty much laughed and gave us a 'what did you expect' kind of look. He then went from $441 per month with $1500 down to $347 per month with nothing down! Quite a difference! When we asked if we could discuss it over lunch- he actually laughed and gave us a patronizing "NO!" WHAT A JERK! If Nancy had any shot at making deal- that bafoon blew it for her. He is the epitome of a sleazy car salesman and I feel sorry for anyone who gets conned by him! So, Route 46 Automall - that is why I didnt buy a car from you. In fact, I bought one tonight from the much more reputable and legitimate Ramsey Nissan. I will tell all of my friends what a horrible experience I had, and will also post on dealerrater.com Keep those awesome commercials comin'- You make buying fun... and SLEAZY!!!!!!! More
Went to Route 46 Nissan with my sister-in-law to help her get a new Altima lease. We were able to work out a very fair deal with the help of George Mack and Richard Catalano. The sales team there is unresponsive, unprofessional, and do not deliver on their word of the deal. This is just my first step against this dealership. I plan on reporting them to BBB and consumer affairs. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! More

Route 46 truly helped me during a pretty rough patch with regards to my credit. I had been looking for a new car for a while and was not having much success. Through their persistence, I went in and left w regards to my credit. I had been looking for a new car for a while and was not having much success. I have just leased my fourth Nissan from Automall 46, and I'm astounded by some of the comments here! Automall 46 is pretty much everything you hope for in a car buying experience. They sit with you and ex I'm astounded by some of the comments here! Automall 46 is pretty much everything you hope for in a car buying experience. They sit with you and explain the price of each car that they have in inventory, and go over the options that each car has. If you're looking to lower your price, they'll go painstakingly through their inventory to find a car that has only the features you need, so that you're not paying for anything you don't want. And while many car dealerships leave you with a sense of "mystery" about what the price of the car really is, the people here will explain the price, the value of your trade-in if you have one, and tell you how the monthly payment they quoted you was arrived at. And if you need a lower monthly payment, they'll show you all the options for bringing your payment down, or tell you honestly when you have gotten the payments and car price as low as possible. Then, they'll take you to one of their storage lots to see the exact car you're interested in, and let you test drive it - or any other vehicle you may be interested in. They really don't play games here. It's specifically why I just bought my fourth car from them yesterday. As far as the service department goes, they are just great. I don't live especially close to them, so it's not always that easy for me to schedule service. On several occasions they have rented me a "loaner" car from a nearby Car Rental company so that I could leave my car with them to get serviced. And on several occasions they've surprised me by telling me that certain service that I've had performed (and expected to pay for) was actually covered by my warranty, so I've literally left them my car, driven a loaner (that they paid for) while they serviced my car, and then come back a day or two later to find that all the repairs were done (they go over them with you item by item and show you what was done), and told that there was "no charge" for the entire transaction. I've never met a service department at any dealership that worked so hard to please their customers. Again, this is why I have bought and leased a total of 4 cars from them. I'm genuinely shocked to read any negatives about this dealerships. I'm glad that the people who had great experiences like me posted those as well. I've had four great car-purchase experiences with them, and I'm quite sure that I'll be leasing my next car from them when this lease is up. More
