I have bought 3 cars from this dealership. Dino sold me my new 2003 CRV, 2005 Odyssey, and recently my Certified Used 2008 Accord. He was completely professional. Everyone at Rt. 23 Honda in both The Sales my new 2003 CRV, 2005 Odyssey, and recently my Certified Used 2008 Accord. He was completely professional. Everyone at Rt. 23 Honda in both The Sales Dept. and the Service over the years have been extremely helpful. I have been to other honda dealerships where no one has given me the time of day or respect. Both Sales and Service staff here take time to listen to all my concerns/questions and things get done in great time. I continue to service my cars here and would highly recommend this dealersip to anyone looking for friendly, curtious, and professionl staff. More

All went well again until after we had agreed on the deal with the sales manager. As we were filling out the paperwork, the sales manger came and asked us to increase our price by $25 to cover the price of an oil change they say they had overlooked in figuring out what they needed to charge for the car. Incredible to us that -- after the deal had been agreed to -- they would insult us by asking us to give them another $25. For an oil change? If this was true, they couldn't or wouldn't absorb the $25 for us -- repeat customers? Later, we were told the issue wasn't an oil change but rather the commission for their salesman. If we spent $25 more, the salesman would get an extra $100 in commission. So, what was the truth? Who wants to deal with a dealership that isn't truthful? Who wants to deal with a dealership that insults its customers for $25? Not us. After we complained, Route 23 Honda's customer service agent contacted us to "negotiate a fair" settlement for what had happened. They offered us a $100 coupon for their service department. We were not interested in negotiating the value of our desire to be treated fairly and with dignity, so we turned them down. Frankly, a coupon to a dealership we no longer trust or respect doesn't have any value to us anyway. They have promised not to treat other customers this way. Let's hope they are telling the truth this time. More
We have bought 4 Hondas from this dealership and have always been treated professionally, obtained good pricing and excellent service. The sales teams over the years have been very professional. Likewise the service team is highly professional and does great work. They seem to believe in the ethos of "doing it right the first time." The minor problems we might have had over the years are quickly addressed. Excellent customer service on the sales and service fronts are the forte of this dealership. More
I brought my 09 Accord in because the remote keys were not working. Steve was very friendly and helpful. I called to move the appointment up to today, and he remembered me right away and had me come right in. He and everyone there was very polite and courteous. I also spoke with Dino about getting out of my lease early and into a newer Honda. He took time out to explain my options and gave me helpful feedback. More
My review on our salesperson, David Dhaniram, would be an understatement! David was very professional, listened to our needs and BUDGET, courteous, friendly and just aggressive enough for us not to walk away understatement! We have dealt with other (overly aggressive, arrogant) salespersons in the past and none is comparable to David's (very) customer-oriented mind set. They should have more David Dhanirams in all dealerships. In addition, we do want to mention also a great experience with Carlos (Manager) who just greeted us with a great smile and personality. He continued to ensure that we were okay while negotiating. Victor and Anthony who were also pleasant in "sealing the deal". Last but definitely not least, Wilson (Financing). He was also professional and listened to our budget and was very understanding. We would also like to mention that normally once a customer purchases a car, we no longer hear from the people who help us getting the car and we are considered yesterday's newspaper and that everyone goes about "hooking in" new customers. Not at this Honda dealership, we were pleasantly surprised to see that we were still receiving emails from David asking us if we were satisfied with our purchase. We returned to Honda to pick up our plates and Wilson still offered impeccable customer service to us. The cashier was pleasant and apologetic because we had to wait for five minutes for a tech to install our plates. Not to mention, Carlos who once again brightened our day with his smile and great personality and conversation about Spanish food. We could see why your dealership is a success because you've hired the right type of people to best represent your company. Everyone is a team player who's goal is to make a customer feel relaxed, very welcomed and make a customer very satisfied to purchase a car there or just content to have been there. Thank you to all the employees whom we dealt with. If we could give a "10" rating (especially) to David, we would have!!! Even though you have something in writing from this dealer they do not honor it. Though I made a deal which included an accessory and it stated in the email that it was included. I just leased a Honda Odyssey at Route 23 Honda. I highly recommend this dealership and the sales person with whom I worked, Anthony Butler. Perhaps one's experience at these dealerships is heavily dependent upon the sales person, in which case I may have been very lucky. Anthony was very straight forward with me from the beginning. I requested a quote via email and he provided very detailed information and answered all my questions. I felt they were very fair with their pricing as well. I did comparison shop, and they were extremely competitive. The actual transaction went smoothly, with no funny business. He stuck to the quote he provided via email. As far as the dealership itself, I really liked the atmosphere. It is VERY family friendly. It was helpful with 3 young children in tow. They have a playroom with a TV and some gadgets. Also, it was very clean. Overall I had a good feeling about the place. We are very happy with our purchase. More
I brought my 1991 CRX SI from Dino in '91 (and kept it for 14 years and put 217,000 miles on it) and in 2005 I brought my Civic SI hatchback from Dino. Very rare to find a salesmen to stay at one dealersh for 14 years and put 217,000 miles on it) and in 2005 I brought my Civic SI hatchback from Dino. Very rare to find a salesmen to stay at one dealership so long. He is always very pleasant when I come in, and always remembers my first name when he greets me. I have brought both my Hondas here for all servicing. Brad in Service is also always very pleasant and remembers my first name when I came in for any service. Most dealerships forget who you are when you drive off the lot. I highly recommend Route 23 Honda for purchase and service of your cars. Kenny More
I will always bring my Pilot to Honda for servicing! Poppy is so helpful in explaining everything to me and most importantly she understands the financial aspect of having my car serviced.
