And the best thing of all, these salesmen are NOT pushy! Compared to other inquiries we've requested from other dealerships, this dealership and their team were very upfront with everything. The other dealerships would try to lure me in and were extremely impatient. After emailing back and forth, I've decided to come in to look at the car and settle the price. I was then offered to be helped by Mike Madhwa, very straight and to the point gentleman. I didn't want sales people to try to be my friend. I like his motto; to the point, no games. Great dealership, and did not try to scam me as I've heard many stories and even went to a few shady dealerships to experience it myself. November 19, 2011: I found a 2009 Honda Civic Coupe on the RT. 23 Honda website, after emailing the dealer in reference to the vehicle with no response I decided to take a ride over, fingers crossed that the RT. 23 Honda website, after emailing the dealer in reference to the vehicle with no response I decided to take a ride over, fingers crossed that the car was still available. Greeted by Rolando at the door, I showed him the ad. He took in inside and came back with "unfortunate" news; the car was already sold. Disappointed, and ready to leave he took the opportunity to show us another Civic, similar to the one I was interested in, but with a higher price tag. Working & going to school full time, and paying for it myself, I knew I couldn't afford a $19,000 car. He insisted I take it for a test drive, and I'm glad I did. Of course, I fell in love with the car. He took my father & I inside to "talk numbers". He worked out a deal that worked for me and that I was comfortable with. Rolando and Joe worked with me and helped me to finally have the car I've been wanting. The next day the airbag light popped up on my dashboard. I made an appointment with Rt. 23 Honda service to drop off my car on Friday (11/25/11). Thinking it was just the sensor, I was expecting to have my car back later that day. Unfortunately, I got a call that it was something that needed a new part ordered and they wouldn't be able to order it until Monday, but that my car would be done by Wednesday the latest. Tuesday rolls around & still no word from Honda, so I call and they say it's taking them atleast a week to get the part. Really? Ever heard of overnight express shipping??? .. so today is Friday (12/2), a week after my car's been dropped off and still no word. My cars been in the service department longer than I've actually gotten to drive it. All in all, I'm very pleased with Rolando, Joe & the sales department at Rt. 23 Honda. The service department, not so much. I just want my car back already ... Hoping to have a better experience with the service department in the future, if needed. More
