Route 23 Honda

This is my third experience with Rt 23 Honda in Pompton Plains. The reason I keep coming back is because of Dino Riccio. He has always been more than helpful. I am very sure about what I want, and Dino really works hard to achieve that for me, including putting me in my new car in just a few hours. I drove in with my Accord, and drove out in my Civic SI. My visits to Rt 23 Honda have always been more than pleasant, and I tell others about my experience whenever the subject comes up or when someone says, "Hey!, new car. Nice ride!", and that happens quite often. I am a Honda girl, and I can't imagine doing business with any other dealer. I have visited other dealers but none compare to Rt 23 Honda and Dino. Today is October 2nd 2012 and I have yet to receive my deposit refunded to me (I have been repeatedly calling and speaking with general manager AFTER manager for over 10 DAYS now).After a very friendly en deposit refunded to me (I have been repeatedly calling and speaking with general manager AFTER manager for over 10 DAYS now).After a very friendly encounter with the sales staff including Mike Lee and Josh on September 23rd (Josh had nothing to do with my experience except for the very informative explanation of the Honda Accord and presentation of my options) I was told that a deal wouldn't be doable so we shook hands and left.The next day I called to inquire about my deposit being refunded to my card that was initially used. Manager Mike Lee said he would call me back in ten minutes. I was called back by a sales associate and told that the number I was given was fair and if I had thought the deal over ? I since had done the proper homework and decided on another route, Soon the associate attempted to talk me out of every avenue that was in my mind.He made no mention of my deposit and the conversation was over.I then called the dealership AGAIN and AGAIN spoke to Mike Lee (I had to provide the management staff with my debit card number numerous times throughout the course of the day). He assured me that I would have my card credited by the end of the day...LLLLLLLLLLIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE LIE LIE LIE ! Here I am today after another call to the OTHER manager Mike Wadwah (Who has "helped" my aunt with 6 vehicle leases in the past 4 years).I once again had to provide my debit card number and have no idea if I will actually see my money. My deposit was in the total $300 ! I am a full time student and work hard for what i make. ^ I feel taken advantage of ^ This is a perfect example of buyer beware ^ DO YOUR HOMEWORK AS A CONSUMER,THERE ARE A HANDFULL OF HONDA DEALERS IN A 20-30 MILE RADIUS... PEOPLE YOU HAVE OPTIONS. Dont fall victim to unfair tactics that were used here. More

Dino was very pleasant to work with and he was not high pressure at all. We wanted to see a certain color car that was not in stock and he actually found the car at another dealer and brought it to his sho pressure at all. The entire atmosphere of the dealership was very refreshing. There are numerous live plants that give a very soothing tropical feeling. Sunny the business manager was very easy going and did not pressure us into anything we did not want or need. It's hard to believe it but Route 23 Honda shatters the image of the pushy stereotypical car dealership with salesman putting the screws to you at every turn. I highly recommend Dino and would obviously do business with him again. More

My experience was exceptional. I asked the dealer if we could be out in 90 minutes or less and we were. There was no back and forth false promises and overly friendly talk.
