After around 15 bad dealerships and the stereotypical shell game in every one I spoke with Drew Bickoff at Rt 23 Honda. I told him what I was looking for and what I had been through so far. Without hesitation he assured me that does not happen at their dealership and started the ball rolling by hooking me up with Ron Wood Jr. who before we even met he had something lined up for me. Not because he was trying to sell me but because he actually "listened" to what I was looking for. My wife and I went down. I told Ron I was under a time crunch so we had to work quickly. And we did! No games. He brought over the car we discussed and it was EXACTLY what we were looking for. The staff worked overtime getting my trade in appraised, the financing and paperwork done. I told Ron what my budget was. He told me what the payment would be ... and THAT NEVER CHANGED like in every other dealership. No tricks or shell games like we had experienced at the other dealerships. We were introduced to everyone all over the dealership - which is really nice by the way. Jeremy, the Sales Manager was right out there. Personable and approachable. Again, not like at the other dealerships where the Sales Manager is behind closed doors. Sonny, the Finance Manager was extremely friendly and worked diligently to get me the best rate, which turned out to be 2 points lower than anywhere else AND got us out in time. I have to admit I was waiting for the hammer to drop but it never did. Really a big departure from what we're used to. All in all, this group of people at Rt 23 Honda are the real deal. Drew, Ron Sr, Ron Jr, Jeremy, Sonny...They treated us like people and for that I am eternally grateful. You have earned all my referrals... Drew - you're the best! Ron Wood Jr. - You rock man!!! And your dad was really cool too! Attention other dealerships reading this... You might want to take a cue here. There is no reason for the games.
