From the moment we got there we were greeted by a friendly sales rep who finishing up with a customer who just purchased a car. From that initial meeting Luis worked diligently on putting us in the car of our choice, getting rid of our trade-in and keeping our payment with our budget which wasn't an easy task. So thank you Luis for your professionalism, experience, and going the extra mile. Your personality was a plus and it was a pleasure working with you, you are truly a phenomenal Sales Rep!!! More

Since my first purchase in 1995, they have exhibited what a car dealership should be and they have proven to be one of the best around. Dino Riccio is a fantastic salesman. Because of him, I am driving a brand new car that I got for a fantastic price. Sales and Service have always been a pleasure to deal with. As long as I am a Honda owner, there's no reason to go anywhere else. I love my new Civic and I would happily recommend Route 23 Honda - make sure to ask for Dino! More
Phenomenal experience! I had the pleasure of visiting Route 23 Honda to lease my first ever new car. Dino Riccio was recommended to me from a family member and I could not h I had the pleasure of visiting Route 23 Honda to lease my first ever new car. Dino Riccio was recommended to me from a family member and I could not have been happier with my experience. Not only was Dino friendly and warm, he made sure all my questions were answered and our time at the dealership was not wasted. From trading in my old car to checking out the amenities in my new Honda Civic, Dino covered it all thoroughly and quickly. Fred Mehler helped me with all the paperwork surrounding the lease and also answered my questions thoroughly and efficiently. He worked with me to get my monthly payment within my budget and was a pleasure to work with. Dino also took me to meet Andrea Schmidt in Customer Care before I drove off the lot and she was exceptionally friendly. I had requested fog lights installed on my Civic, but were not available the day I leased my car. Andrea followed up with multiple phone calls once the lights arrived at the dealership and helped me schedule an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. Lastly Mark Blazejewicz was the Service Manager I dropped my car off with once the fog lights were in. He was super busy that day, but took the time with me (and seemingly everyone else in the garage) to write up my paperwork, go over the dealership's protocol for a loaner car with me and made sure I was comfortable with the car they were offering me. Despite the multiple customers in the garage that day, the wait was minimal--very impressive! Everyone I've encountered at Route 23 Honda has been great! More
The sales part of the experience was quick and painless When I walked into the dealership and told Rolando that I knew what I wanted and had little time to make it happen (with two babies at home and a full When I walked into the dealership and told Rolando that I knew what I wanted and had little time to make it happen (with two babies at home and a full time job), he went into action to find the certified vehicle I'd found online. When he realized it was still in service going through certification, he kept in touch with me over the following days to give me status updates. Even though it was out of his control, Rolando did not stop following up with service to find out when the car would be available for a test drive. It took a week for that to happen - had Rolando not taken it upon himself to be persistent but not pushy with me, I'd have sought out the same car at a dealer in West Caldwell. Please believe me when I say that Rolando's character and personality played a HUGE part in my returning to purchase the auto from Route 23 Honda. I rated Price "good" because it was good - I didn't get all I wanted for my trade-in, but Rolando worked with his manager to reduce the price of the certified Odyssey - I believe the end result was a fair price and a win-win for me and the dealership. Overall experience was "good" because I was there for 2.5 hours after the deal was made waiting to complete the paperwork, which was too long. That was out of Rolando's hands though. Every time I saw Rolando during the process, he was making things happen to keep me moving along, even though he had other irons in the fire. He was attentive and kind, and I could tell her works harder than most. Rolando allowed me to walk away feeling like I got a good and fair deal, and who wants anything else when they go to buy a car? Because of Rolando, a great guy, I will return to 23 Honda. More

There when I needed them, but warranty coverage missed Discovered a tire with low pressure (thank you tire pressure monitoring). At 25 lbs it was a slow leak so I filled it with air and went to a local ET Discovered a tire with low pressure (thank you tire pressure monitoring). At 25 lbs it was a slow leak so I filled it with air and went to a local ETS, but they were backed up for hours - Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Went to Honda and they took the car in quickly. Found the problem to be the tire pressure monitor component itself which was leaking the air. They had to replace the part, mount and balance the tire. Cost was $163. When done I asked if this was covered under my extended warranty and was told no because the part itself did not fail. I subsequently contacted American Honda, Inc, and was asked for the invoice which I faxed. Result - Part of the work is covered under the warranty. The cost of the part and time to replace it will be reimbursed, but the tire balance will not. The reimbursement is around 50% of the cost. The amount is minor, but the concept is important. Having said that, it's an understandable mistake and especially given the rushed atmosphere due to the holiday weekend and it was a Saturday. No hard feelings, but I mention it so others may learn. More
