Looking to purchase my 4th preowned Honda over a 20 year span, I began my search at Planet Honda and had nothing but a negative experience: bait and switch and constant pressure. I had the pleasure of initially speaking with Josh over the phone discussing a few preowned vehicles as well as establishing a general price point for my trade, where he consistently stated he would work WITH me to come to a buying solution. Because of the positive nature of my conversation with Josh I made a 45 minute trip to work with him, bypassing 12 Honda dealerships closer to my home. We did not negotiate, we simply 'dialogued' and came to a solution that worked for both parties. Josh literally made good on everything he offered through our discussions. Additionally, Sunny C. in finance made finalizing the purchase that much more positive. I commend Josh's professionalism, industry knowledge, and the total absence of any high-pressure sales tactics. Louis Popek I recently had a problem with my Ridgeline. I called in the afternoon to see how soon I could bring it in, hoping it could be as early as the next day I recently had a problem with my Ridgeline. When I arrived, I was greeted and taken care of by Louis Popek, and he could not have been more pleasant or helpful to deal with. The next day Lou called me early in the day to explain what the problem was and after giving him the green light to do the repairs, my Ridgeline was fixed and ready to go within a few hours. People like Louis Popek and the great staff and service I always get at Rt. 23 Honda is the reason I have been a loyal Rt.23 Honda customer since 1991. In fact, when I became a customer, they still referred to themselves as Fairfield Honda having only recently moved to their current location. Quick and Efficient I had trouble starting my car, and had to use a portable battery starter.
