My husband found a used truck there that he liked- as he had been looking for one for weeks he got immediate notification from 3rd party sites when his criteria was matched so he called to verify the price had been looking for one for weeks he got immediate notification from 3rd party sites when his criteria was matched so he called to verify the price pretty immediately, and we confirmed by phone, text and email that the price was correct and told multiple times that it was. So we asked if we could put a down payment to hold the truck until we got there or somehow start financing it. We were told no that they couldn’t hold it for us even with a deposit, but due to the distance we wouldn’t be able to make it there until the next week. So the next week rolls around and it is still there but the price has went up exponentially, we called emailed and texted again to confirm it was available and asked about the price increase. We were told they mislisted the price, but would honor it since they had told us a different price on multiple occasions. The day before my husband is going to head there we call to get final numbers as we had already been approved through our bank and we’re going to trade in our 22 civic as we didn’t need 3 vehicles. Our current vehicle was worth almost 10k more than what they offered through KBB and was selling used for about 14k more than what they offered everywhere online, so their intentions were obviously to get us negative on our trade to make up the money they were losing by “honoring” the original price we had been promised. So we told them no thank you on the trade in we would just haul the car back with the truck and buy it right out. We were told we’d have to be called back. About 30 minutes later they call back with a “final number” and there is an undisclosed extra 3k on there, and when asked what this was for they said it was just a price mark up. Which really aggravated me so I called them out on this stating that this was a bait and switch and not honorable business practice to which a manager ended up intervening on that conversation. They didn’t want us to bring outside financing -actually pretty much refused it- and they didn’t care about the promise/honor they made. Finally after a lot of back and forth they said they’d sell it to us for only a 1k mark up IF we financed through them. Which at that point we needed the truck and it was still an okay deal. So we did. Whatever, still aggravated but we had to have the truck as we were selling our house and moving into a fifth wheel a few weeks later. Fast forward a month later and our temp tag has expired. We called and asked for a secondary temp tag and we were told the state of NJ didn’t allow that (which was a blatant lie you can literally look it up on the NJ website as we were out of state customers and could get a 30 day extension for a small fee). We relayed this to Sam the sales person and we’re informed for a while and then told we would hear back after we talked to his manager. We tried making contact a few more times with Sam and then multiple other people at the office to either be told we would be called back and never were, or tossed around or put on hold until THEY hung up on us. So we texted Sam again offering to pay the fee ourselves just PLEASE send us another temp tag and we were again lied to and told they couldn’t. So here we are 2 months later, 2 payments in on a vehicle we can’t even drive and no one at this company has the decency to help or even call us back. It is obvious this is retaliation/back lash from the dealership for being held accountable for their original list price and they are upset they lost out on money, because neither the Georgia DMV nor the tag office had received info on the truck over 6 weeks in, even though they told us it had been mailed off. We asked for tracking on this or online confirmation to confirm this and we’re once again ignored. At this point we’re pissed enough we’re ready to take legal action as we have NEVER had this type or problem in any state we’ve bought a vehicle in. They don’t care about anything but money. They should be ashamed of themselves. More

Market adjustment don't make sense as car was already in the stock. I went there in the afternoon and was the last person walked out with car from the dealership. It took them to 7 hours to do paper work. More
