First experience at Toyota 22 service center This service center is the most unprofessional center I have ever experienced in 40 years of dealing with auto professionals. The car was taken to t This service center is the most unprofessional center I have ever experienced in 40 years of dealing with auto professionals. The car was taken to the service center due to the following reasons: 1. Warning sign of AWD 2. Problem with Stop & Start system, 3. Low brake oil warning 4. Difficulty of starting the vehicle at times. First thing I was told by the Advisor Mr. Mike Ventura is that I had a contaminated fuel tank and that they would have to drop the tank to clean it and not covered by Toyota warranty. When I asked the advisor for the results of the chemical test showing the contamination, he said it was a visual observation only. Sounds like a scam. I am a Marine Engineer and have a complete understanding of fuel systems. I also let him know that I fill my fuel at only 1 gas station and that is Costco. I asked Mike to return the vehicle to me as I needed to get a second opinion. When he could not fool me with his explanation, he mentioned they had already emptied the fuel tank (my tank was full) and in the process the fuel pump stopped functioning and needed to be changed.. I refuse to believe that something went wrong with the pump. As an experienced Chief Engineer of large ships, I am amazed at the explanation. Since the fuel pump is covered by the warranty of a new vehicle, it does not affect me, but my assessment is that this is nothing less than fraud and Toyota should investigate this further. The agony started from the moment I entered the service center. I had been promised a loaner vehicle by the person who made the appointment. After making me wait in the lounge for 6 hours, they said the best they can do is offer me a ride back to my house. I would call and/or email Mike everyday for the status of the car. It was on the 3rd day that I was told about the contamination of the tank. Since they had kept the car for 3 days already and I was short of a car, my wife and I were facing a great amount of difficulty and my work was suffering since I am in Sales.and needed to be mobile. I had to make use of public transportation and taxis, which was most inconvenient and expensive. Finally a loaner vehicle was provided to me 7 days after I took my car to the service center. My wife picked up the car from the service center 15 days after they were given the vehicle for servicing. The unfortunate part is that the car still gives a problem to start at times. Stop-Strt is still not working as it should. In the future I will be using a different dealership to service this vehicle. The service center of this dealership in my opinion should be avoided at all cost. More
Below average Communication skills were very bad. They wouldn’t call you back as promised or text you back. My car just sat there at the lot for two days and no one Communication skills were very bad. They wouldn’t call you back as promised or text you back. My car just sat there at the lot for two days and no one would even call me to come pick it up. I was not even updated on the next steps to take after it was found that there was nothing wrong with my car. I was never even offered a replacement car while my car was at the service center regardless of the perks that come with my warranty. More

They try to help you as soon as possible, even if you don't have an appointment. But, it is always good to make an appointment, because your time there may vary according to the service your vehicle needs. It's good that other customers keep that in mind. Thanks! More
