What others commented on this dealerships is really true, people there are very unprofessional. They let you wait on purpose so others think that there are lots of client who wants to purchase cars. Before I read the reviews I was determined to write to the General Manager and the Vice president about their unprofessional hired people, thinking that they should trained them again. But after reading all the reviews, I know now that their higher ups knows what they are doing and in fact they are trained to do that kind of thing. After going to a couple of dealerships I ended up on 22 at Route 22 Honda on a Saturday morning. I knew that I wanted a certified pre-owned Honda Accord and the salesman Ron Terry was eager and showed me at Route 22 Honda on a Saturday morning. This company is completely unprofessional and has wasted a great amount of my time and energy ! After looking at one of their used cars, we went through the paper work, which the sales consultant had to go a great amount of my time and energy ! (Do employees not communicate?!) And, AFTER 2 1/2 HOURS OF WAITING TO BE BROUGHT TO FINANCE, I FIND OUT THAT THEY PUT THE INCORRECT YEAR TO THE VEHICLE, WHICH LED ME UNABLE TO PURCHASE IT BECAUSE THE BANK DOES NOT FINANCE 2002'S. But, as an alternative, we requested to place a hold (refundable) on the car via check. Spoke to Omar two days later, telling him I'm not taking the car and would be picking up the check. Long story short, I've heard EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE to why the check isn't ready to be picked up and waited DAYS AFTER DAYS ! It's taking them over 2 weeks to give me my check back !!! I advise all of you current and future Honda consumers not to purchase any vehicles from this dealership ! There are plenty of others who know what they're doing. More

When it was time to trade in the Civic, I went to Rt. 22 Honda with my sister. Though I had met Mohammed, I wanted to observe my sister's car buying experience. As a result of her meeting, we both are proud owners of Pre-Owned, Certified CR-Vs! I can honestly say that Mohammed IS a wonderful and caring sales person. Never pushy, Mohammed counseled us through the process. Overall, I had a great experience with Mohammed and Rt. 22 Honda! More
If you think you find a good price with this dealer, you won't get it for the price, as they will bump the price up by forcing you to take optional additions that you may not want. They wanted to force their "millenium service", which all it does is freely replace your car key if you lose one within the next 3 years. Here it is though, they were to charge 990 dollars for that!!!! WHen I said no, they dropped the price to 300. Since I am moving out of the state and I can only use it in this dealer place, It wasn't rational for me to buy it. I offered to add $100 to the price than to pay 300 for the service. After finishing the deal, I went to a financial officer and he seemed to be playing dump with the 0% APR I was offered from the sales person and tells me that there is no 0 %APR offer at all. Finally, he calls the manager and tells me that you have to take the optional gap insurance to use the 0% APR. I hated the changing stories and I walked out. Mind you by this time, I have already spent 4.5 hours in the site. I cannot imagine going through this process in another dealer place and I went back and agreed to take the Gap insurance. I was told to wait until the temporary plate is made. After some time, a manager comes and tells me that there is some problem with the deal, I have to put $700 into the "millenium service", or else he can't sell the car. At this point, it was obvious to me that he is changing his mind with the sale and I could only shout how dare he wastes my good 5 hours for nothing and walk out. I end up going with an Altima, with a great deal including 0 % APR, from a nissan dealer where I had much smoother experience. By the way, Route22honda dealer were charging me $449 for documentation fee when it was only $199 in the nissan dealer. More

I purchased a 2010 Accord LX after a month of visiting several dealerships within a 50 mile radius. Juan sent me a quote over the internet that was thousands less than anyone else. I came into the showroom at about 8:30 pm and drove out with my car by around 10. Correy Degannes, the salesperson that worked with me is one of the most courteous and professional people that I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. There was one add on, the millenium package, that I didnt expect, but Correy cheerfully accepted my offer to reduce the price by a certain amount- the resulting price was still way below anyone else's quote and below the invoice price. I highly recommend this dealership and Correy Degannes to anyone in the market for a new Honda. More
