Great customer service I went in for a routine oil change and check. I had an issue with my cell phone charger port. I also questioned replacement of my right rear tire rim I went in for a routine oil change and check. I had an issue with my cell phone charger port. I also questioned replacement of my right rear tire rim due to damage from the curb. I had purchased the extra tire/rim insurance from the dealership. The service dept contacted Chrysler and assured me that they will provide me with a loaner when my vehicle will be sent out to repair the rim damage. I hope they follow through on that promise. I appreciated the callout to Chrysler regarding the issue. More
Starter Motor Replacement and Multiple Fluid Exchanges I bought my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this location back in December 2004 when the dealership was known as McDonagh Chrysler Jeep Dodge and have a I bought my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this location back in December 2004 when the dealership was known as McDonagh Chrysler Jeep Dodge and have always had great service from the staff working there. I was extremely pleased when the facility reopened as Rt 18 Chrysler Jeep Dodge and I found many of same people still working there. Service today is as pleasant and thorough as in the past. Rich Warren, the Service Advisor, was super busy on the day when I dropped off my Jeep. The starter motor had failed and I had long list of other work to be done. Despite the hecticness, Rich wrote up the lengthy work order (ten different items, to be exact) and got everything right on the first go-around. He is a fantastic person to deal with. Many thanks, Rich! Thank you also to Chris Spahr! He is Service Tech/Mechanic who performed all of the requested tasks. Rt 18's team gets very high marks for outstanding quality and attention to detail. Good job everyone! More
Customer satisfaction should always be first. I just want to start of by saying, I'm a 35 year old male. I own a small business, and this is my 5th Jeep. After the experience I received here... it I just want to start of by saying, I'm a 35 year old male. I own a small business, and this is my 5th Jeep. After the experience I received here... it may be my last! Last week I brought my car into this dealer to get looked at after waiting for 2 weeks for an appointment. I seem to have an electrical issue from what I understand on my end. This problem has been there since the day I picked my car up from the dealer. Upon arrival to the dealer to drop my vehicle off I was created by Joel, who immediately pointed out that my warranty was not covered at their dealer. Now it is to my understanding that each "jeep dealer" sells different "jeep" warranties! Some "jeep dealers" don't cover other "jeep dealers" warranties apperantly! This to me was some what understandable. I was actually more mad at my jeep dealer than at this jeep dealer. Immediately the associate Joel turned to "Richard" who is obviously the person in charge of the department with the issue and asked his advise about the matter. In a very rude way turned me down and offered almost zero help to any of my issues and was very poor with his attitude towards me the customer. I was pretty upset but managed to keep my cool after a long day at work and decided to investigate with my dealer before being turned down and having the problem in my car linger... Needless to say... They do take my warranty! Problem solved right? Wrong....! So they provided a loaner car which was a Chrysler 200 which is by far not a jeep.... I waited a day for my car figured the problem would have been corrected... Nope! When I retired a day late because I couldn't catch them the day before... They blamed the issues I was having with the car on me... I have installed a pair of after market LED bulbs that are made to fit the car... Needless to say what I originally brought the car in for was not addressed! My car still shimmies when I hit the gas in a very weird way, my Bluetooth is still disconnecting, my interior lights still flicker (problem I had since I picked the car up)... Yes from what they tell me this is all caused by the LED bulbs! xxxx aftermarket parts! How dare they mess up my Bluetooth! I don't know but I felt like I went to the doctor and got seen by a dentist! I do want to say that the person who did try his best to help but from what it seemed was tied was Joel. He did try and was very polite, unlike Richard who seemed very I unhappy with my excistance because I bought my jeep somewhere else! To you sir grow up! I worked in customer and sales for many years before doing what info today... And I have never treated a customer lesser simply because they weren't my customer or because of a warranty. Instead of turning me down a loyal JEEP CUSTOMER, you should have taken better care of me. But more importantly you should be doing this with all your customers, and if you are having a bad day... GO HOME! Don't ruin someone's day and then do a crappy job just because you are lazy! I had to do all the leg work just to nothing accomplished but the oil change that I could have gotten down the block for 19.99$ Shame on people like Richard who are contributing to decline in customer satisfaction of the American car industry I buy jeep because I believe in the brand and have for many years! But after this experience I am totally going Chevy next time around or even ford. If I was this persons boss I would retrain him in customer service. More

Diagnosed the problem(s) and made the necessary repairs. I have every confidence in the work. I am always treated politely and although my knowledge of how cars work does not extend beyond "you turn the key and the motor starts" they always explain what needs to be done in language I can understand. I walked into the dealership with no appointment and five children. One of my children decided to slam the automatic door shut by hand, (as the door was closing by itself), causing the door to come off track. The door couldn't close completely and with children in the van, it wasn't safe to drive the car that way. After the incident, I went directly to the dealership. Mr Ryan Jonas addressed me immediately and assured me that everything would be OK. The tech Chris Cummings was knowledgeable and efficient. He showed me what the problem was and what needed to be done to get the door back on track. I cannot put into words how much we appreciate you going above and beyond with your help and expertise in solving the safety issue that we had. I have told all of my family and friends how wonderful the service department is at Route 18 Auto and how family friendly the customer service department is.
