Jeff at the desk inside was very helpful and kind. But overall, a service that should have taken 1 day (just a few hours) took 3 days and caused me to miss a day of work. Although the service was completed we always seem to have an issue. This time we scheduled an appointment, received confirmation via email with an attachment of pricing for recommended services. Why send out the invoice in the first place if you aren’t going to honor it. It helps to have predictable pricing. We understand things change but this was a simple oil change. Very disappointed. Brought back vehicle for same problem ,two times and vehicle was left overnight two times. Came back for pick up said can not find anything wrong. But I paid over 900.00 dollars. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation for the first time at this location. I was extremely pleased with their valet system along with all of the friendly staff. Michael Nabinger was outstanding in attending to me while service was being performed on my vehicle. He was courteous and professional throughout my visit. The work performed on the vehicle was fine. Where they dropped the ball was on the communication and closing out the job. I dropped the vehicle and was told I would get it back by end of day. I received a call at 2:30pm from the customer service rep I saw that morning saying he was leaving for the day and a co-worker would contact me to let me know when to pick up the vehicle or if they need more time, which never happened. No phone call by noon the following day so I ended up having to call them about the progress of the work. Upon arriving to pickup the vehicle a few hours later I was charged for an oil change and tire rotation which were still covered under my warranty, this was something we had verified when I dropped the vehicle. I ended up spending an additional 10 minutes while they adjusted the invoice and issue a credit back to my credit card. I was handed my keys and told the car is outside. I spent the next 5 minutes outside trying to find my car. They have a huge parking lot that wraps around their facility and it turned out my vehicle was on the opposite side of the entrance to the service department. After leaving a few hours later my change oil warning light came on which indicated they did not reset the warning indicator or changing the oil. I called and was assured that the oil was changed and a technician would call me back to walk me through the process of resetting the indicator and needless to say I am still waiting. Very disappointed first time experience with Route 18 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram this was my 30,000 service with cost over $1,500, not sure if I would will go back to them for service. More
I was very pleased with the patience Mike had while explaining the situation with my car. Fortunately I had taken out an extended warranty which Mike took care of the details to get my car fixed.
