I leased my 2017 car through DCN Hyundai and to my understanding DCN does not exist anymore and it is now called Hyundai of South Brunswick. I went to get my free oil change as stated in my contract and the lady (unsure of her name) says since the dealership is under new ownership, Hyundai of SB will NOT honor any deals made by DCN. She gave me a piece of paper with an email address and phone number so I can express my concerns there. Mind you I tried calling and emailing several times and have yet to get a response. This is not fair to your customers and I believe any agreement that was made when leasing the car should be honored throughout the ENTIRE term of the lease. Agreements made at the time of the purchase should never become null just because a dealership is under new ownership. Recently, my check engine light came on in my car and I took it to the dealership on 7/8 and they told me they "think" its because my air filter was dirty and were going to charge me $50 for a replacement, $211 for a fuel induction service plus about $40 in fees/taxes. I would be spending $300 for a service that they are not even sure will fix the issue. If you don't know, air filters cost less than $20. I suppose Hyundai likes to take advantage and rip off their customers. But how many people has this dealership ripped off? Anyway, I noticed 2 days after I got home there was something was hanging from my car. I went back to the dealership on 7/12 and they said the part would cost $500 and because it was "wear and tear" How can there be wear&tear on 2 year old car? I have to assume Hyundai doesn't make sustainable vehicles if I already have to spend money fixing it. But if you want to know the truth I believe they did something to my car at my first visit. What a coincidence that a part in my car is damaged right after I leave the dealership. The funny part is as I was expressing my frustration on the phone in the lobby another customer overheard me and then started to share her horror stories with this dealership. Very interesting if you ask me. This dealership is a bunch of crooks!!!!! I can't wait to be done with them. More
horrible experience I'm so disappointed with dealership service in general ... my engine light went on and week later my car was taken to be fixed it shouldn't take long I'm so disappointed with dealership service in general ... my engine light went on and week later my car was taken to be fixed it shouldn't take long they said and gave me a loaner car I called every week to check on my vehicle I'm not a mechanic I didn't know what was going on ??? apparently I needed engine to be replaced ... since under warranty it was free of charge but still heavent heard from nobody 4 months passed by I went for oil change and the loaner car was taken away (too many miles ... (hello its been 4 months already) and I was given little car nothing to compare to what I was making payments for every month because I haven't even seen my car since I dropped it off in February ... the new car broke down the guard fell of from under the vehicle ... dealership charged my insurance and I had to pay $500 deductible on a car I drove one day ... it wasn't even mine !!! of course they took the money but didn't fix the car so I was forced to rent a car from enterprise and pay with my own money ... they told me corporate will reimburse me the money ... haven't heard from none of them my car got fixed and I was made to pay deductible otherwise I wasn't able to take it home ... car was so stinky and really unpleasant to drive !!! I was a loyal customer I purchased two vehicles from them when it was still Brad Benson i did every oil chenge with them i did EVERY fixing with dealership and now when im asking for all the invoices I'm entitled to my phone calls and voicemail masseges are ignored nobody calling me back ... just sad overall!!! More
HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE The WORST dealership I have ever dealt with. My truck was in their shop once in December and again in a January to get some recall issues fixed. Come February, my check engine light came on again and I was advised I would need to drop it off and have it stay overnight for diagnostics. This was February 25, 2019. A couple weeks went by with very little communication, finally I received a call stating 50+ tests were ran and they determined my engine was going to be replaced. In the meantime, I started a new job and was trying to find rides to and from work everyday because I could not get a loaner until the work was “approved.” After receiving the phone call about the engine replacement I told them I need a loaner, I was denied and told to go rent a vehicle through Enterprise and keep the paperwork to submit to corporate in hopes of reimbursement. They told me they had absolutely NO ETA on parts arrival for my truck so they couldn’t tell me how long I would be without it. I could not just go spend hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars on a rental for an unknown amount of time. I continued pressuring them for a loaner. Over a month later I received a call stating they had a loaner for me, but told me “we pulled this loaner away from someone else because of your constant calls.” I DO NOT CARE AND HOW RUDE OF A THING TO SAY TO ME. I got the loaner and another month went by with no word from the dealer. Yesterday, May 7, 2019 I received an email from corporate stating my truck was complete and ready to be picked up, my engine was NOT replaced and all that was done was a new wiring harness; which I’ve already had done; either the December or January trip. I am SO angry, my truck was basically held hostage for over two months for something that could have been done in one day! So, did they lie about all the testing? Did they lie about the engine? Anyway, I told them I would be coming for my truck last night (5/7/19). I called on my way because I was stuck in traffic and might not make it by 7pm. I was told someone will be there to help either way and I should still come, so I continued on my way. I received a phone call at 7:06pm “hello this is so and so and I’m told you’ll be coming tomorrow morning for your truck.” I said “no I’m on my way right now, on route 1 less than 10 minutes away.” To which she replied “well we are closed.” I said “I’m aware I called and told that I would be a little later and I was told to still come.” She said “well I’m leaving as soon as we hang up so you might as well go home.” Mind you, I live 40 minutes away and I made her aware of that, she did not care. This entire experience has been HORRIBLE, the customer service is DISGUSTING and the service advisors are NASTY people. Not only did they lose me as a customer, but my entire family (who goes to them) as well! More

No loaners or rentals if you have a long term repair I am appalled at the lack of customer service this dealership has. I picked to buy a Hyundai because they are known for their customer service and thi I am appalled at the lack of customer service this dealership has. I picked to buy a Hyundai because they are known for their customer service and this dealership is really doing the brand a disservice. While the service work that was done to my car wound up being good and it was covered under the manufacturer, the customer service I received totally turned me off from this dealership. DO NOT bring your car to this dealership for any major repairs and need a car. Apparently, if you have a serious issue with your car which is manufacturer based there is no way you can get a loaner car. This dealership only gives loaner cars for 24 hours for scheduled maintenance and absolutely will not pay for a rental car. My case manager from corporate told me that enterprise won’t do business with them because of the previous owners. You will have to go through corporate to get a car which takes 3-5 business days, and for that to happen my manufacturer repair needed to be approved which took about 4 business days. I went without a car for over a week. The staff there told me when I started asking for one after two days of my car being there that one would probably come in the next day. Five days later I had to physically go into the dealership to confront the staff because nobody was answering or returning my phone calls for two days. Then I was told there are no loaner cars they give out for long term service repairs. I was given a number to call Hyundai Customer Service to get a rental car. They told me it would take 3-5 business days to get approved for a rental car, at that point I would have been without a car for a week and a half. Customer Service said I could rent one and submit for reimbursement, but there were no guidelines they could give me for approval and they could not say for sure if I would be approved. When I called Ram, the service manager, back to let him know this happened he became argumentative and at one point told me “ they were in the business of fixing cars not manufacturing them” and “ he just follows the rules”. He claimed that no dealership gives out rentals for long term citing BMW and Mercedes as examples, however when I pointed out I knew of several he changed his tune to “that is wasn’t their dealership policy”. I asked for the dealership to provide in writing that if the manufacturer would not reimburse my rental car that the dealership would, at which point he refused. I have never been treated so poorly by any place of business. After then explaining how terrible I thought their customer service was the only thing he would do for me was call to make sure the manufacturer didn’t give me a hard time. None the less I was still without a car for the start of the new work week. I finally spoke to someone at corporate the following Tuesday and was provided in writing that Hyundai would pay for a rental car. Fortunately the new engine came in that Thursday and I was able to pick it up on Friday, but I still had to go a week and a half without a car while they fixed mine. More
Change in ownership issues I leased by 2017 Hyundai Tucson from DCN. This past week I called to schedule an oil change and NO ONE told me DCN was sold until I got to the deale I leased by 2017 Hyundai Tucson from DCN. This past week I called to schedule an oil change and NO ONE told me DCN was sold until I got to the dealership that day. VERY POOR BUSINESS MOVE BY HYUNDAI OF SOUTH BRUNS. They were very quick to tell me I needed to pay for my oil change but my agreement was free oil changes with this lease. HYUNDAI of SB is apparently not honoring DCN deals. They handed me a piece of paper to call this number / email the person. I did both multiple times and no response. I want to know how this affect my lease and what will happen when I return it. More

I have valet service so I'm supposed to call Hyundai, have them pick up my car, drop off a loaner and once they're finished return my car and pick up the loaner. Apparently, the dealership is in the process of being sold again and after at least 6 different phone calls (and I am being conservative here, I really believe it to be 7 or 8) I know a whole bunch of employee names but I still have not had my car serviced. I absolutely LOVE my Genesis but feel the dealership is horrible. I not only would not recommend them to anyone I believe Hyundai should be embarrassed by this dealership.! More

Never ordered my plates! No return call for weeks. Once they sell you a car and get you locked in, they provide horrible customer service. After calling 5 times, I now sit on hold for 15 minutes only to be told, they want $230more ! Ridiculous. Why no one ever called me to tell me? Will never Deal with them again. I hope sales guy leaves and works for. Honest place More
