Mr. Seidner had that rare combination of soft persuasiveness and professional class that it so rare to capture in a car-buying experience. He informed me of the choices that were available to me, and WHY one car fit my needs more than any other in the fleet. He was conscientious and respectful. If you want to buy a Hyundai, this is the man you want to purchase it from - hands down! The experience gave me a whole new perspective on a sale that most of us "car-buyers" dread! Problem after problem I've never taken the time to write a public review of a company before, but I've also never had a customer service experience like the one I had at DC I've never taken the time to write a public review of a company before, but I've also never had a customer service experience like the one I had at DCN Hyundai before. I purchased a car there several months ago. I had questions about the car that the salesman (who was a very nice guy, by the way) couldn't answer. That's fine, I wouldn't expect a salesman to know everything about every car, but rather than go to his computer or a manager to find an answer for us, he just stood there and let us Google the answers on our phones. When it came time to make the purchase, the last of the finance staff had left for the day and I was asked to come back later that week to sign the closing paperwork. That's a two-hour round trip for me and time out of work, but I said I'd make it work. I asked if there was anything I could be doing in the meantime - I live in Pennsylvania and this was my first out-of-state car purchase. I asked if I needed Pennsylvania plates and was told: "Yes, you'll need to get PA plates". So, the next day, I sat in the DMV for an hour to get my plates, only to be turned away because I was missing certain documents that they needed and I hadn't been provided with. I called into the dealership and was told: "Sorry for any miscommunication, we handle the plates". Later that week, I go to the dealership for my appointment to sign the closing documents, and I end up sitting in the waiting room for three hours. I checked in with the receptionist (also a very nice person) several times and she didn't know what was going on. Finally, I was informed that the finance staff had been in an emergency meeting all afternoon. But they knew that when I arrived and checked in - so why wasn't I just told "This is a bad time, can you come back?". Why was I just left to sit there for three hours? If I hadn't repeatedly bugged the receptionist, how long would I have sat there? Someone was finally pulled to process my paperwork and I finished the sale. At that point, because of my experience so far, I made a very specific point to ask someone who knew I was buying from out of state - "Is there anything else I need to do? I'm good to go on registration, plates, inspection, all of that" and I got a very emphatic "Yes". Wrong. A few weeks ago, I was pulled over for a minor traffic infraction and was informed I'd been driving illegally for two months, as the New Jersey inspection the car was given wasn't valid in Pennsylvania. My fault for not knowing that? Maybe. DCN's fault for misinforming me? Definitely. I'm facing a fine, potential points on my license, and a court date that will require me to miss work. So, what was my instinct at that point? Contact upper management at DCN, privately, and let them know what happened. That was almost a month ago. I called in and asked to speak to a manager and was given an email address. I emailed in. I sent a follow-up email. I called in again. I can't seem to get anyone to acknowledge that I've been trying to get in contact, and I don't know what else I can do at this point but try to warn anyone reading this - if you're considering buying from DCN Hyundai, run, don't walk, in the opposite direction. More

It took about five hours to complete the car buying process. The salesman we were working with was Steven Seidner. We wanted a specific car that was going to be gifted and he helped us select the right one. We took it out for a test drive and knew that we were going to get this car. Steven helped us out from start to finish. Although we spent a long time at the dealership, we were able to great a great deal on the car! Thanks Steven for such a pleasant transaction. More
