Steve was polite and apologized for any misunderstanding or confusion with the deal finances and trade-off, then helped resolve it to our satisfaction. He picked up our desired car from an away dealership. He was very communicative via text and e-mail and i hope this will continue beyond the sale. Honestly, i can say the deal wouldn't have went through if it was not for Steven's help and interventions to resolve finances and trade-off issues that came up. Thank you so much Steve. Thank you again for patiently answering all of our questions. However, the dealership and it's financial practices were not acceptable. They made the financial part of the deal more stressful then necessary. I got the deal I wanted but they low balled our trade-in and the new car pricing negotiation was contentious. Make sure you read all paperwork thoroughly - they tried to switch our agreed upon loan rate. More

FAST STRESS FREE LEASE! My salesman, Steven Seidner, was very easy to work with. He sent me an e-mail telling me that my existing lease was getting to the end. I e-mailed him telling him that I was happy with my current leased vehicle and would probably be purchasing it. If I would consider leasing a new vehicle it would have to have at least the same features as my current one. I also told him the colors I would be interested in. When I got to the dealership Steven greeted me at the door. He had pulled up a vehicle that had all the features and the color that I was interested in. We took the vehicle for a test drive. Since my current vehicle and the one I test drove had a Turbo engine, I asked he if I could test drive one with the regular engine. He pulled up one with the regular engine in the other color I was interested in and we took a test drive. We went inside, went over the pricing and I decided to lease the new vehicle. Steven made sure that I received all the incentives and discounts that I was eligible for. After a SHORT amount of time, I was on my way home with my new vehicle. Steven made the process very easy with never any pressure to buy something I didn’t want to. The next time me or my wife are looking for a new vehicle, we will come to see Steven. More
Bait and Switch waste of time dealership. This dealership does not respect your time nor their word. They will tell you whatever lie they can to get you in the showroom no matter how far you This dealership does not respect your time nor their word. They will tell you whatever lie they can to get you in the showroom no matter how far you come from(in fact, I would guess they would prefer you come from a distance after a hard day at work and desperate to get a car xxx they think you will be less likely to leave) and once in the showroom, they will slow everything down and make you wait around and try to bait and switch you until you sign for a car you didn’t want. Do not fall for these unethical practices. Go to a reputable dealer instead, whatever they tell you cannot be trusted. This should have been clear from the first times they contacted me over the next few days with multiple appointments I didn’t make, I hadn’t even spoken to or called them; they must have got my # from an Edmunds inquiry I did for my NY zip code. After getting a starting price at another dealership, I was contacted by them by text asking what it would take to earn my business. I replied that they could “beat the price” I had and they assured me they could do so. I was not driving from NYC to Jersey unless we had a deal so I told them to please check with management and double-check all the numbers to make sure I didn’t sit in rush hour traffic on a Friday afternoon. I got the management confirmation and VIN at 12:30 PM and confirmed I would stop by a few hours later that afternoon to lease the car. I called them en route and told them I would be a little later than the 3:30 time I told them because traffic in Staten Island was horrible but Marcellis Outlaw from Business development assured me the car would be prepped and out front ready and it would be easy. A little before 4 PM, I arrived with my wife. They told me Marcellis was on his lunch break and handed me over to Tony Rodriguez. He asked for the VIN which was strange because I had already arranged all of this with Marcellis. He took about 10 minutes to come back after introducing himself and getting the VIN (which I double-checked with him to make sure it was clear). After that, he comes and brings us out a black car (the car I wanted was white) and I tell him, there must have been a mistake. He apologizes and we go inside and he asks for the VIN again. He goes back to “look for the car” and we are left waiting again. After another 15-20 minutes he comes back and just gives us the keys and points to where the car is but does not go out with us, strange but whatever, I just want to give the car a once over and sign the lease. We walk out to a white car of the same make and model with a dent on the passenger door. I was disappointed as this is a brand new car but then I realize they had messed up again (so I thought), this is the wrong trim level with cloth seats and not the car I was supposed to lease. So we go in and again tell him this is the wrong car. He apologizes and goes off to go get the right car. At this point, Ahmad Hamdan, the sales manager comes up to introduce himself and says “oh you wanted the limited, not the base?” to which I just said, "I have discussed all of this in writing with a specific VIN and asked you all to double-check before I made this drive." He then walks away. After waiting another 20 mins or so with no word from anyone Ahmad comes and tells me the car was sold last night and they can put me in a black version of the car I want for a better price. I told him he can’t be serious and he then asked me why I didn’t put a deposit on it. If I arranged to come only a few hours earlier and the car was sold last night (which obviously is part of the scam) then how could I put a deposit on a car that is gone?. I turned and walked away and got apologetic texts while I was still in the parking lot. Overall, this type of dealership and these types of practices are the exact reason why car salesmen have such horrible reputations. It isn’t so hard to be upfront with potential customers ready to spend 10’s of thousands of dollars with you when they ask you to do so and not waste time. To the “New Ownership” at Hyundai of South Brunswick, I hope you actually stop these shady practices and listen to the would-be customers you alienate. Your canned responses to bad reviews on the internet show just how out of your depth you are in this business, especially in the year 2020. Good luck potential customers; you will need it if you chose to burn your time or money at this place. More
