RUN TO THIS DEALERSHIP- THEY ARE FAIR AND KEEP THEIR WORD! We were looking for a Hyundai Palisade LTD and had gone to multiple dealerships in Essex and Bergen County - specifically Maxon (near us) and Wayne Hy We were looking for a Hyundai Palisade LTD and had gone to multiple dealerships in Essex and Bergen County - specifically Maxon (near us) and Wayne Hyundai. While we loved the guys at Maxon, they were not able to honor the true car pricing that Wayne had offered us via email. When we started dealing with Wayne Hyundai in person, it became apparent that they had a limited selection and had no intention of selling us the car at the price they quoted in a timely manner. If they did, they were going to low ball us significantly on the trade in of my Honda Accord. On a Saturday at noon, as I girded myself to go and haggle for hours on a good deal for us at Wayne, for a color combo that was uninspiring, I called the South Brunswick Hyundai dealership, about 45 miles from home, since they had left multiple emails to contact them, albeit with no actual monetary quote. It was on a whim and I had no previous relationship with the dealer or any of its employees. Got to say that the whim paid off. Rachel picked up the phone- was so inviting and friendly, and right away heard what we were looking for, suggested alternative trims that might fit, and put us in touch with Steve Seidner (apparently beloved by all on this board- and rightfully so) to help us with a potential purchase. Steve was quick to let us know what color combinations of the Limited trim that he had in stock. In retrospect, I was very thankful that he heard and respected my request to get confirmation that the price that Wayne was offering would be matched before we made the trek down that far. Steve said that he understood and didn't want to waste our time but needed to check with the GM to make sure that price could be honored. I didn't really hold any hopes, but was pleasantly surprised when he called me back ten minutes later to confirm that the GM had agreed to honor the price that we were quoted to the cent. He said come on down and asked what color combo we wanted to see and that he would have the car outside ready when we arrived. To be honest, we headed down half expecting that we would get a run around- like other experiences we have had buying a car. We arrived by 3PM with our dogs in tow on a hot summer day - We kept them in the cool AC with one of us with them the entire time. Steve had the car outside (with 4 miles on it). My wife took a look and because of the color it was the first time she gushed about the car. Even in the midst of helping two other customers, Steve was helpful. He allowed our dogs and my wife and I to sit in a socially distanced corner of the dealership (for the AC) while the paperwork was being drawn up. Regarding the trade in - because of the lowball offer at Wayne, I was ready to sell my car online privately, but when Steve and Manny, his trade in manager, offered me $2500 more for my Honda trade in than Wayne had quoted, I jumped at the ability to save time by trading the car in there. At the final check of deal points before the contracts were drawn up to sign, there was even a small overage in the price. When I drilled down, I expected resistance. There was not even a discussion! Ahmed, quickly adjusted the contract $250.00 less to meet my understanding of what they had told me on the phone. All around the team over at South Brunswick knocked it out of the park for us. I agree that it was the easiest and kindest experience. From Rachel to Steve to Manny to Ahmed and finally the contract officer- every one of the team members worked in conjunction to give my wife and I the feeling of a well oiled- customer service centric TEAM. All understood the product, listened to our expectations and concerns, were efficient, and got us out of there in less than 2.5 hours in the car of our choice. RUN TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! They are people of their word, with ethics and knowledge to steer you into the right car at the right price. Thank you Steve, Rachel and team. We LOVE our PALISADE!! The color combo (steel grey and tan leather) that Steve recommended makes my wife very happy! More
Greatest car experience I have ever had. I had a little bit of a rough situation and it was no problem for Steve. The experience was a breeze . We had some trepidation of entering the showroom d We just leased our 3rd Genesis G90 5.0, and our first experience with Hyundai of South Brunswick. We had some trepidation of entering the showroom during this Covid crisis, however to our delight, our fears were where soon overcome. Everyone was wearing masks and all health protocols were followed to the strictest guidelines. Andre Moshkovich, Genesis Sales Manager, showed us the new G90, went over all the financing options and the new equipment in the 2020 G90 model. He then proceed to have car removed from showroom for a test drive. To our satisfaction we agreed to complete the transaction and Andre then had the car re-cleaned. The time spent with Andre Kostenko the finance manager was done in a professional manner, where as he explained all the forms to be signed and went over in detail, the protection options offered by Genesis.
