My salesman, Steve Landesman, was just wonderful! He worked with me in getting the deal that I wanted. He was sincere, honest and treated me like a friend, not a customer. I had heard Brad Benson's radio ads for years and always enjoyed them. I knew they had become the biggest Hyundai dealer in the country. With this in mind I was reasonably sure that with the volume of car enjoyed them. I knew they had become the biggest Hyundai dealer in the country. With this in mind I was reasonably sure that with the volume of cars they move they would offer the best deal. I met with Steve and took a test drive. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. After our test drive we began to talk price. After some back and forth we came to a price I was comfortable with. I told them that I would get back to them. There was the expected retort of "We can only guarantee this offer today". I checked with other dealers and as expected none would match Brad Benson's price. I returned the next day and met with Steve. When all was said and done I drove off in a brand new Sonata. It did not take long to come to an agreed upon price. Also every Saturday they grill hamburgers and hot dogs. A really great touch! More

I was searching every dealer in New York for a grey 2011 Elantra. No one had it. I called Brad Benson in Jersey, they said they just got a truck in. I told them to hold one for me I was on my way from Long Elantra. No one had it. I called Brad Benson in Jersey, they said they just got a truck in. I got there 1 1/2 hours later, sat with David (a sweetheart) made the deal and I drove off with the car that night. They waited for me and stayed late to finish my transaction. They ran a promotion on the radio promising 30% off the dealer posted price plus $1500 cash back. That is why I drove 1.15 hours from NYC to purchase a Sonata Limited. The Good: Salesman Dave Testa knew his inventory inside out. He is probably the best car salesman I have encountered. He talks funny, but makes up for it with knowledge and professionalism. The Bad: Neither Dave, nor his sales manager, not the floor manager would tell me the dealer posted price so I could figure out how much I would save with 30% off and $1500 cash back. Infact they pressed me to give them the numbers I was able to negotiate at another dealer and tried to match it. But they wold not honor their promotion. The sales promotions they run are fake, and they will not honor their own advertising. Which was enfuriating. When I pointed to the Internt price or the price on the option sheet they handed me, they claimed that those were different from the dealer posted price, which to this day I still dont know. They do the hard sell, whic I expected. If you dont go for the salesman's numbers, they call in the assistant manager. If that doesnt work they call in the floor manager and try to pressure you on price. They lied about how much the car costs the dealer. I know this because I came in with a spreadsheet from carbuyingtips dot com which calculated the cost to dealer. Had they just honored their own advertising I would have bought their car. Since they didnt I purchased it in Westchester for less that they wanted. DONT GET SUCKED IN BY BS PROMOTIONS! More
The team that works for Brad Benson was over the top in all catagories!! I went in with a price from a competitor...they not only matched but I ended up with more in the car than the other dealer had offer all catagories!! There were no hidden fee's and no BS...everything they promised they came thru on. Because I had my car and it wasn't a trade in, MY salesman delivered the car to my home personally!! I've bought alot of cars over the years...and this was the most pleasent expriance I've ever had at a car dealer!! I'm sending my friends and family there...I will be a life time customer!! I have purchased nine new cars since 1998, and helped many others with their negotiations in dealerships. After visiting several dealerships throughout NJ & NY for the car I wanted, I went into Brad Bens many others with their negotiations in dealerships. After visiting several dealerships throughout NJ & NY for the car I wanted, I went into Brad Benson merely to feel them out on the price of a 2010 Mitsubishi Evo X SE... and walked out tonight with my tenth new car. Remaining stern in my approach as always, Felix and Mike remained professional and courteous as we narrowed down the selling price to what I was comfortable paying. My career allows me the discipline to remain reserved and calm when in these situations and I was happy to see that they did not resort to antics that I have endured(but not tolerated) elsewhere. I am going to sleep tonight a very satisfied customer. More
I HAVE BEEN PURCHASING VEHICLES FROM BRAD BENSON SINCE 1992. MY 2003 HYUNDAI SANTA FE WITH 90,000 MILES IS STILL SITTING IN THE SERVICE DEPT. SINCE MID JANUARY. I STILL HAVE A LEASED MITSUIBISHI OUTLAND 1992. MY 2003 HYUNDAI SANTA FE WITH 90,000 MILES IS STILL SITTING IN THE SERVICE DEPT. SINCE MID JANUARY. I STILL HAVE A LEASED MITSUIBISHI OUTLANDER FROM THEM THAT I'D LIKE TO WATCH BURN. THE SANTA FE'S ENGINE SEIZED DURING ONE OF THE BLIZZARDS. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY NEEDED TO EMAIL VARIOUS DIFFERENT PICTURES TO JOHN HOFFMAN-THE HYUNDAI REGIONAL MGR. AFTER 6 WEEKS OF EMAILS ( MR. HOFFMAN NEVER SAW MY VEHICLE), I WAS TOLD THE WARRANTY WAS DECLINED DUE TO IMPROPER MAINTAINENCE. LAURA TOLD ME THERE WASN'T ENOUGH OIL. THAT'S BUNK. I CHECKED THE OIL ALONG WITH MY PERSONAL MECHANIC BEFORE IT WAS TOWED TO BRAD BENSON. BRAD BENSON HAS THE WORST REVIEWS IN THE BUSINESS. I SUSPECT THEY TOOK PICTURES OF SOMEONE ELSE'S VEHICLE AND SENT THEM TO THIS INVISIBLE REGIONAL MANAGER. WHY THEY WOULD TREAT A RETURNING CUSTOMER LIKE ME THIS WAY I DO NOT KNOW. I HAVE SERVICE RECORDS FOR 5 OIL CHANGES IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. THE 65,000 MILE MAINT. WAS DONE AT BRAD BENSON. THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO FIX THE TRUCK , AND HYNDAI IS GLAD TO OBLIGE!!! HELP !!!! More
I went to dealership to possibly purchase a new car. I got swindled into a 2010 Hyundai Accent and financed for $19,000. I found out that they added an extra $1,750 to the sale price of the car for not be got swindled into a 2010 Hyundai Accent and financed for $19,000. I found out that they added an extra $1,750 to the sale price of the car for not being a Hyundai owner ($1,000) and not being Military ($750). Dealership did not send pay off for trade before due date and I keep getting phone calls from the bank for the payment. Dealership has neglected to properly register the car. Dealership unwilling to work with customer to resolve issues. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! More

I am happy with my experience with david and joel, and when i am ready for a new suv i will be calling on them to get me a great deal that fits my budget.
