******BUYER BEWARE****** I purchased a CERTIFIED 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe following a tragic accident that could have taken my life. The purchase occurred in April 2026. ***HYUNDAI GAVE ME REGISTRATION TAGS FOR MARCH 2026*** so already bad salesmanship. I drove to a hair appt and a zumba event only an hour and half away and the CAR DIED IN TRAFFIC and windshield wiper fluids were empty. IN TEXAS while at a stop light, the car died. I immediately text my salesman and he was out on leave so I went IN to the actual Hyundai Round Rock location ( David Vinson authorized a battery replacement- after some side eyes and back-room conversations). I have the actual text conversation with the salesman and I sent that via email. The battery continued to die in traffic. Mind you I'm looking for work during this time so having to take on this EXTRA headache was horrible. In July I decided I will just make an appt and sit in the service center until it is fixed. I sat there and Nick (Hyundai Round Rock Service Center and Lee Laxton) tells me RATS ate through the in workings of the car. So they work on it for FIVE HOURS and i WAITED. They tell me it is fixed. I was teaching my friend's daughter to drive. I take her for a drive and we get STRANDED on the back rounds of Taylor, Texas until the car re-starts. I take it back to ROUND ROCK HYUNDAI SERVICE and they give me a rental. Then I see headlines about catch fire warnings for the HYBRID Santa Fe vehicles so I immediately took it back to the dealership. The manager RAY CARRIGAN has the service tech send a response for him that it is "complete". I also sent the issue to HYUNDAI CORPORTATE it was assigned to MATT Case #42942518 he said to take it to a DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. More
