From the first correspondence via email, I was surprised at how she responded almost immediately. I asked for an online quote from three dealers in my area. She first asked me how I preferred to communicate, thru phone calls or emails? I said, emails were best at that time because I was currently at work. The next email, she asked me for more info as to what my husband & I were looking for in our next vehicle purchase. I gave her a list and she replied right away with a quote. It was also a holiday wknd, so she gave us a quote that would be advantageous to us if we purchased this wknd. She also wanted a chance to try to answer any questions we may have that causes us to believe we cannot afford a new car right now. By this time, I barely received responses from the other two dealers, just saying "thank you for asking for a quote". I then realized that in a short period of time, Danielle had started building a customer relationship with us by being attentive, courteous, persistent & genuinely friendly. While the competition made me feel like just a customer with a number waiting in line. Going into the wknd, she remembered that the email address I gave her was my work email & the ph# I provided was my cell phone. So she texted me on Saturday to just remind us about the holiday sale & to think about coming in to test drive a new truck. I thought she was creative & thought "wow", with her busy schedule during the holiday sales, she took a minute to send a friendly reminder text. She deserves a chance and therefore, managed to convince us just to come in & test drive a truck with no obligation to purchase. Just as we expected, Danielle was geuninely nice & super kind in person. Heres the clincher, in the first ten minutes of meeting with her, another dealership was calling my cell. I told her who it was, she smiled & never spoke one bad word about that dealership. It was then that we knew that we can trust her opinion & thoughts, esp any information she has to share with us. We were there to listen. We test drove a used truck & loved it. We then decided to go for it. With our bad credit we already prepared for bad news. But Danielle came back with jaw dropping news that we qualified for a program that can put us in a brand new truck. Again, she patiently sat with us as we tried to make hard decisions. Pen down & computer screen turned away, she attentively answered all our questions with a smile. A few hours later & with confidence, we found ourselves owners of our very first brand new truck we bought together since being married for 5yrs. It was painless and it was a very positive experience at that. We highly recommend Danielle York everyday & twice on Sundays to everyone & their mother. (smiles). We can't wait to purchase our next car at Rotolo Chevy. Lord willing, with Danielle York. She ROCKS!!! More
My take on this dealership has been a very strange one. This dealership has a few good people in sales and some who are very confusing. Bob Regan and Jim their service director more than make up for the confusion and stress one may encounter in the sales department. I have bought parts from your dealership when it was at the foothill location for many years and like the quality of service your parts department gave, honest and treated me like I was an important customer. It was like the small town where I grew up and where they treated the customer right and he would return and tell others to buy there. I had been internet shopping for an HHR for about 4 months and seen your listings on EBAY and was looking for a better price at that time as I buy based on a budget and was paying cash and never finance things. I finally saw that your prices were good and called and talk to Lucy Sanchez to see if your dealership would accept my offer. I was also talking to other dealership at the same time and waited for the right opportunity to buy. Lucy was very professional and courtesy from the first time that I talked to her about the HHR that we just purchased. She took the time to answer my questions and get the price approved that we wanted to pay for the car. I call back the day we were ready to purchase to see if the car was still there and that the price was still good. She said yes and I told her that we would be down that day to purchase it. I had been looking at several dealers and making offers, (cash only sale). They all wasted my time playing the back and forth with sales manager with back end add-on’s, and I told them I had a budget, and what I was willing to spend and that was it, no financing, no warranty’s no paint protections, just the car out the door. They all had similar cars, color, ex-rentals, mileages, options, comparable prices. Their loss was our gain as we purchased from a Great dealership and an honest sales person, Lucy. I will recommend your dealership to people looking for a vehicle to buy and try to direct them to Lucy. Just a little back ground, I was a service manager for a Chevy, Olds, GMC dealership for 1 ½ years and service manager at a Honda motorcycle dealership for 5 years in the 80’s and miss those days of helping to build a small town attitude dealership where you don’t let a customer leave unsatisfied. It cheaper to retain a present customer than to try to get a new customer, you already have him in your store, don’t over sell him and he will trust you and return to spend more, “LOYALTY is your BEST CUSTOMER”. Your dealership is first class. Lucy took the time to explain the different options on the car and never tried to oversell, but did let us know of other options available to us and invited us to return or call with any problems. She had the car washed and the fuel tank filled, (one of the best things to help make a customer happy), while we waited to complete the paperwork on the car. We were introduced to Angelica Cardona, finance manager, to handle the paperwork. She helped make the painful experience of signing papers and the parting with money easy and she was helpful and offered other options available also with no hard sell making them easy to understand their benefits to us. She too, was able to answer our question. Both ladies are professionals and care about their jobs and their customers as well. I have started telling others about Rotolo and hope they buy from you. The staff at Rotolo truly make you feel like a part of their family right away. I originally requested a quote online late one evening. I was surprised to get a response right away as I anticipated wait their family right away. I originally requested a quote online late one evening. I was surprised to get a response right away as I anticipated waiting until the next day. I ended up going into the dealership on Sunday morning without an appointment and was happy to find that Lucy was there. I appreciated how direct she was and that she listened to what I wanted and needed and did not try to oversell and we did not have to play the back and forth game on price that you do at other dealers. Working with Jim on the finance was just as smooth. He was very helpful in again - listening to my needs and helping to ensure I left with the protection and value that would be suit my needs. We came unprepared (didn't have the GMS number to receive the Employee Discount) and Thelma went ahead and gave it to us in good faith that we would obtain it and get it to her later (which we did). She, Lisa, and Tirso went above and beyond our expectations to make it a great experience in spite of our lack of preparation. Jim was very friendly and pleasant to deal with, and Debra made sure we walked out the door knowing everything we needed to about the car and what the dealership offered in terms of follow-up service. Overall, the staff was extremely helpful and we will definitely recommend this dealership to others. More
