I wanted to touch bases with you on my service today. I appreciate you getting the truck out to me quickly after the service. However, This service was up there on my bad experiences with Rotolo Service I appreciate you getting the truck out to me quickly after the service. However, This service was up there on my bad experiences with Rotolo Service Dept. Not because of you personally, but because of the breakdown in the entire day. When I dropped my truck off this morning, you said my DEF level was at half a tank. I looked at my DEF level when I picked up the truck and it nearly empty. So if it was at 1/2 tank when I dropped it off, then someone stole half a tank of my DEF. I am pretty sure it was well below 1/2 tank when I took it in and no one actually stole the fluid. With that said, I’m not sure why you said it was at half and why none got put in during the service. I attached a photo of the level and shows the miles and the DEF level. You mentioned the fuel filter was not displaying on the dash. That was because I had that option turned off and you told me the newer trucks show that readout. My truck does too but as I said, it was unselected. When I checked the option and looked at the fuel filter it shows 25%. I’m not sure why it wasn’t checked properly, but it seems this was the way things went on this service. Another concern was that you never told me about a possible engine leak, and if I didn’t read my paperwork when I went to pay, I would have never known because I don’t believe you would have called me back to tell me about it. When the receipt says I declined the recommendations, it makes it look like I had a choice in the matter and I decided not to take care of the problem. That is not the case because I never knew about it. I can’t imagine how busy you must be on a daily basis and I’m trying to keep that in mind, because when I’m at work, I go nonstop all day and sometimes things get overlooked. But in my humble opinion, an engine leak on a 2 year old truck with 12000 miles should be a concern to all involved. We have rescheduled a return visit and I’m sure whatever the technician saw will be pinpointed and repaired. My last complaint is the tire rotation thing. I understand you documented that I said I didn not want the tire rotation because I just bought the tires, but the tire rotation still happened. However they didn’t even move all the tires. Then when you sent it back in, they still didn’t do it right. I had to explain it to the young man changing the tires what was needed so he understood, and then it was done correctly. Terrible waste of his time and of mine sitting and waiting for tires to be changed 2 times while I waited. I’m not mad at anyone, because you were very nice and apologetic when I came back in to ask about the notes on the receipt. Since you were my point of contact I get to address these issues with you. I have CCd the service manager on this email as well and I hope I have been clear with my concerns from today. More
