I had looked for a long time for my Tucson at several dealers in my area and no one wanted to negotiate with me or they wouldn't contact me back. Joey contacted me the next day after I inquired about a v dealers in my area and no one wanted to negotiate with me or they wouldn't contact me back. Joey contacted me the next day after I inquired about a vehicle online and he took the time to ACTUALLY work with me. I live in the East Bay(hour and a half from Roseville)and we were able to handle everything over the phone. He explained the different models and we compared prices, that same day we negotiated and came to an agreement on the final cost of the vehicle. A couple of days later I was at Roseville picking up my new car. When I arrived my Tucson was already detailed and ready to go. I was was using my own bank to finance my car and they were able to CUDL my paperwork with no problem. After I signed my paperwork Steven came out and gave me the complete run down on all the features/butons my car had to offer and how to use them! I had a great experience purchasing my car at Roseville Hyundai and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to make a serious purchase. More
Car purchased 10-13-2010 at which time I also added the extendedwarranty and pre-paid service; this latter because Cajun in finance told us thatservice requirements were every 3750 miles. I was at the dealership on 10-29-10 and went into Cajun to cancel the extended warranty and pre-paid maintenance as the car only needed servicing every 7500 per owners manual. He accessed the computer and said "Done." I was told the refund would show on my Hyundai finance statement. On 11-16 I called and talked to Cajun and said I had not received the refund yet. He looked up my info on the computer and told me a step had not been completed but that now he had done so. I was in England until December and on my return I called the finance office again on 12-6. This time spoke with Desiree who only then informed me that a cancellation form needed to be signed, so I drove to the dealership and duly signed the form. It is now 1-17-2011 and still no refund. I had e-mailed Roseville Hyundai and received a reply from a Shaffer on 12-28-10 who wrote that he would get in touch later: I'm still waiting! I have no complaint with sales. Steven our salesperson was great. It's unfortunate that their finance department has soured us on buying or having anything further to do with this delership. I will not be using their service department. More
I went to Roseville Hyundai in September, 2010 to check out and possibly purchase a 2010 Hyundai Elantra. Michael Izawa was the salesperson and I was very impressed with his professionalism. He was very patient and his customer service skills are top-notch.I ended up buying a brand new 2010 Hyundai Elantra and am very happy with my new car. I would like to make it clear that Dan Acosta our salesperson was GREAT! Our problem started with Desirea in the finance Dept. Long story short, we wanted our financing to go to our credit union & salesperson was GREAT! Our problem started with Desirea in the finance Dept. Long story short, we wanted our financing to go to our credit union & stated to her that is what we wanted. However, when she did the paperwork she did not go to our credit union. The next day I called our CU & found out we could get a better rate. I called her & she tried to discourage us saying it wasn't going to save us that much money & then said she would lower the rate to the credit union rate. I said no, wanted it to go to my credit union. She said fine. Two weeks or more went by & still my credit union had not received any paperwork, but they did receive the payoff for our trade in vehicle. Called Desierea, my credit union called Desierea, but by then she wasn't returning our calls. So I started calling Chris Shaffer, he never returned my call. E-mailed Chris Shaffer, didn't respond. Did here from someone by the name of Cajun & he made all kinds of excuses. A day or two later a very nice woman (judy) called & apologized & said our package was LOST. She was sending someone out to our home to re-sign papers! To this day have not received a call from Desieree or for that matter Chris Shaffer with an apology or to set up an appt. to discuss this matter (which we requested of Chris Shaffer by e-mail). We bought our Tucson on Nov. 1, 2010 & didn't get the new paperwork until Nov. 19, 2010. We feel that Desirea for whatever reason didn't want the deal to go to our credit union (maybe she got a better commission elsewhere)& thought if she just did the deal, by the time we received paperwork from the lender we wouldn't question it. I had limited time to purchase a new car. I submitted an online information request and received a call the next day from Brian. I told him that I would like to test drive the Sonata. When I arrived at the dealer I was approached by Steven. I told him that I spoke with Brian. He checked with Brian and then proceeded to give me a test drive. I explained that I was not going to purchase that day, but I am definitely interested. Although Steven tried to get me to buy the Sonata that day, he was very friendly and when I explained that I did not want to purchase it on the same day, because of time constraints and I wanted my daughter to see the car before I purchased it. I completed the credit application and asked Steven to get a guarantee loan/lease and I would be back the following day. I requested that all paperwork be completed and all I would need to do is sign. When I arrived the next day with my daughter, the majority of the paper work was completed and Steven had a guaranteed lease and the car was filled with gas, washed and ready to go. It did take a little longer than expected to complete the financing because there were other people in front of me, but all in all it was easy and everyone was friendly and pleasant. More

Steven was a wonderful salesman. He was attentive, answered all questions but was not high pressure. Sam is one of the best sales staff I have dealt with. He did his homework and was very knowledgeable about the Sonata as well as other autos in the same class. Took some work with the sales manager, but after being FIRM about our position, we came to a price in our range.
