I recently purchased a new Venitian Red 2011 Sonata Limited with camel and black interior. It has the 2.4L 198 HP 4 cyl engine. I traded my 2007 Red Camry. My salesman was Samlesh Pal (SAM). He followed up with me with what he promised and delivered what he promised. So far, I am very happy with my new Sonata. In 2009, we bought a new Genesis and I am very pleased with it as well after owning 2 prior Mercedes E 350's. I would recommend your dealership and SAM to anyone who is interested in buying a Hyundai. My Sonata has a more "peppy" engine than the Camry and the interior has lots more eye appeal as well. We were greeted by Patrick the first time we stopped by to see the Sonata. He was very helpful and we drove one. We also sat in the Genesis. We actually drove one at another dealership, but realized they wouldn't be as good to work with on price etc. We drove to Roseville from Napa and were helped by Ray Smith (Patricks day off). With Ray and Joeys help we decided on color and price of a Red Genesis with Cashmere interior. They were very helpful and patient. Kajen did the paperwork. He was very friendly and helpful. When we picked up the car, two different gentlemen showed us things about the car, but we really didn't get the attention we had recieved before on our other visits. No one we knew was there and it seemed to be busy with potential buyers. I must say that Patricks help the first time we stopped is what influenced us to go back when we were serious about buying. From start to finish I was very impressed with Edwin. No pressure..took his time showing options on the Elantra. After the test drive I knew what I wanted. Joey (the one of the sales managers, I believe) was supposed to call us if it sold before we got there. Didn't call, and when we got there the car was no where to be found (and he handed us off to another salesman). Annoying situation, but I tried to move on. Told him firmly what our budget was, but he tried to upsell us on a Hyundai, 2K over our budget (WE WERE PAYING CASH). "Oh, don't worry, we'll make you a great deal" is what he said. After we drove it, I asked what the bottom line was and he went to Joey to discuss price. The salesman said "since the car you came to look at wasn't here, we will match that price for you." I said "GREAT-SOLD!" As I'm filling out the contract, Joey comes over (the one who came up with the agreed upon price in the first place), and said "Oh sorry, I can't do it for that price". WHAT?? He was the one who stated the price in the first place! We immediately left and I called the manufacturer to complain, they were really ticked off at the dealership and opened a case. Gilbert from corporate Hyundai called the dealership and left messages-he was completely ignored. When he tried calling them again the next day, he was then told "no one by the name of Joey works here". OMG, what a bunch of crooks, bait and switch, and every other awful thing you can imagine when buying a car! We finally bought another Hyunda at a DIFFERENT dealer, and by coincidence the salesman I spoke with on the phone misquoted the price of the car by about $600. When he called to explain it to me, he said it was his mistake and the customer should not suffer. They sold us the car at the quoted price. Even if Roseville Hyundai were giving away cars, I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!!!!! If I could give them a ZERO rating, I would! More

Doug Magee the sales associate was great to deal with so customer service got a 4. Quality of work was good, they had to get my car at another dealership, so it had to be cleaned before I got it, which it customer service got a 4. I went to Roseville Hyundai in late April to do a test drive on the Sonata. Edwin introduced himself and we began to talk. He was wonderful, very knowledgeable, helpful and answered all my questions. We took the car out for a test drive where Edwin pointed out many of the great vehicle features. At the conclusion of the drive there was no pressure to buy, Edwin simply gave me his contact information and I was on my way to test other brands. Needless to say, I bought the Sonata on 5/5/11 through Edwin. He was very professional during the price negotiation phase and there was no high pressure pitch. Edwin was able to get me a price that I felt was reasonable and very comfortable with. The specific color combination and options that I wanted was not currently available at the Roseville dealership but they were to locate one close by and have it delivered for pickup the next day. Edwin called me first thing on 5/6 to let me know the vehicle was ready to go. Once at the dealership Edwin took me through most of he vehicle features, showed my how to program my home address into the Navigation system, how to use a few voice commands and paired my cell phone through blue tooth. I drove away happy and very satisfied with my sales experience with Edwin. If you are looking for a Hyundai you wouldn't go wrong if you asked to see him. Will do business with the dealership again. I was met at the door with Edwin G, and asked him about the available dealer stock for the Elantra. They did not have a "Limited" Trim Elantra but they did have an Elantra with the GLS Trim and NAV with a the available dealer stock for the Elantra.
