I told him exactly what I was looking for and we got in the golf cart and he drove the perfect car for me. We took it on a test drive and then sat down to the paperwork. Everything was straight forward as far as price and payments. I told him what I could afford monthly and that's exactly what I got. We moved onto the finance manager Edwin who was equally wonderful. It was quick and easy. While I filled out the papers they were having the car cleaned and filled with gas so by the time I was done the car was waiting at the door for me. Sam went over everything the car had, set up my blue tooth and we were on our way. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. More
Terrible experience with their sales tactics - like my car but feel completely scammed. Had it not been such a grueling process that wore me down I would have gone elsewhere. We called first to see if the this dealership had the car I wanted to purchase, they had a used one. So we went there to test drive it. Arrived there and found out that the car was sold. Ok, so I told the sa I wanted to purchase, they had a used one. So we went there to test drive it. Arrived there and found out that the car was sold. Ok, so I told the salesman that we were working with, that Folsom lake Hyundai has three of them, I will go over there to test drive. He some how convinced us that he can get any car here to test drive at his dealership. So we waited. He was running and shouting, hustling and bustling to find a car for us to test drive. Yes I was impressed. But as soon as he figured out that we were very serious about purchasing a new Hyundai, that we were very capable of a new purchase. He and his finance team did everything in their powers to convince us to sign a contract. All sense and sensibility went out the door, its time to get paid. Told us that we have to sign, if we sign then everything will be OK. They deflected very well our every attempt to not sign anything until we physically saw and drove this car. Either way we were going to buy a car...we like the Hyundai, they are a fast and great emerging motor company that is going to be here for a long time. I just wish we had a better buying experience and less traumatic for my wife. They were persistent...So a few hours after, we ended up signing the contract....one thing led to another we walked out very upset, feeling like we just opened our pockets to a thief, that we willingly let someone steal from us. During this ordeal, the dealership was closed already, after we signed, the finance officer rushed us out, I never saw the salesman again, yes...he was probably in the back talking gloating about his sale..."how good he was at selling cars to idiots and suckers." During all this, we never saw the car...they forgot to deliver the car, they didn't even have the car. They were so xxxx bent on making us sign the contract. Anyways, yes our fault for signing...yes we know...I am upset that the salesman shook my wife's hand, shook my hand, and shook my eight year old son's hand...and took our money and laughed his way to the bank. So the day after we went to pick up the car we had just purchased, the car that we never saw...a few other salesmen asked us if we like the car, our response was, "what car." This was how I felt at the moment...we paid for a car, they took our money and said, "here take this car, its similar to the car you want, but its not the car you want, I don't care how you feel, we have your money, if you don't take the car, we are going to bill you for storage and for the car regardless if you take it or not, and we already have your money, now get off my property." Yes we put all of our trust into the professional car salesman, he screwed us. But if we cant trust professionals in today's society, who will or can we trust. We like the car itself...We paid cash for a 2013 Hyundai Veloster, its a very nice vehicle. I don't have any complaints about the car. Just the fact that the salesman took our money and screwed us. He just wanted to make the sale. I don't even want the car anymore, because of this idiot salesman, its not about the money, it is more about the moral principle at hand....and this dealership have banners and awards hanging all up in their building...#1 customer satisfaction...its not true. I can go on and on about morality and principles and ethics, but my main complaint is that Roseville Hyundai is the worst when it comes to customer satisfaction. We were very serious and had the money to purchase a new vehicle, I just thought that we would have a better experience. The dealership and salesman was going to make their sale or commission as soon as we walked in the building, we were going to purchase a vehicle, if we were not, then we would not be walking into a dealership 45 min from where our home was located...it just did not have to go the way that it did...they did not have to make my wife cry, they did not have to make us feel like we were being robbed, they did not have to manipulate and force us to feel the way we do about our new vehicle. Shame on them, shame on them for ruining such a great motor company's reputation for me. More

He was easily able to be contacted while at work or even on his day off, he really made my decision that much easier to shop at Hyundai. The entire sales staff and managers were also beyond exemplary, Jason Speigel the general manager of the store was very friendl and also explaind in great detail my financing options as well as everything that I needed to know about purchasing the vehicle. Even while waiting for the financing to be completed as well as during test driving and looking around phase, I was offered Ice cold water bottles multiple times, which may not sound like much but on a 100 degree day, makes the experience even better for me. All preconceived notions of "sleazy" car dealerships were dispelled within the first 30 seconds of pulling into the lot, Dan made a point to come over and greet me and was very approachable and no pressure at all. It felt more like I was in control of the situation and he was the guide on my new car buying journey. I have already shared my wonderful experience with everyone I have been in contact with, as buying a car garners a lot of attention and I have made sure to refer them on to Roseville Hyundai and Dan Knabe in particular. He mentioned that it was only his first week at this dealership, which impressed me even more with his knowledge and understanding of the entire product line. I was BEYOND satisfied with the entire experience, and even 3 days after purchasing the vehicle I have been contacted by not only Dan but the store manager Jason as well, just to make sure the vehicle is everything I want and more. I couldn't be more pleased. More
If you are in the market for a new or used Hyundai, I strongly suggest you visit Roseville Hyundai. Their staff was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly low pressure. I purchased strongly suggest you visit Roseville Hyundai. Their staff was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly low pressure. I purchased a new Sonata yesterday (great car...check out the ratings) and couldn't beat the price. I was in and out in three hours, which included the test drive, negotiating a price, drawing up the paperwork and a thorough walk through of the car. Chris and Diego were awesome to work with as was the Finance Manager, Kagen. Also, I met Veronica in the Service Dept. and talked to her on the phone and she too was very customer oriented, accommodating and pleasant to work with. You are truly missing out if you neglect to visit Roseville Hyundai for your car buying needs. More
Roseville Hyundai was by far the best experience we have ever had buying a car. After test driving several makes and models from different dealerships and actually getting to the point of total frustration ever had buying a car. After test driving several makes and models from different dealerships and actually getting to the point of total frustration from all the run around from other dealers, we decided on a Hyundai. We live in Modesto, Ca so of course we started at Modesto Hyundai and never received the customer service that we were looking for. They could not get us wear we wanted to be with an interest rate, a payment and the car we wanted. They continued to come back over and over again with different rates and payments and we just got tired of all the bull we were being fed. Then Tracy Hyundai contacted us and that was a mess from the start. They promised us that if we ran our credit through them and bought a car from them they could get us the deal we were looking for. They lied over and over again and just kept saying we will meet or beat what anyone else could do with out ever even getting us any numbers. After about 2 weeks of looking at cars and dealing with all the lies, I received a phone call from Jason Spiegel from Roseville Hyundai and did not want anything to do with him at first. He promised that our experience would not be like the other Hyundai Dealers. Jason Spiegel came through on every promise and then some. Jason and Brian Shaffer not only brought the car we wanted from San Jose but then offered to bring it to our home in Modesto. We decieded to drive to Roseville Hyundai anyways just because we were still waiting for something to go wrong. Our Salesmen Spencer Widmeyer was AMAZING!! He told us more about the car we were buying in 10 min then the 5 other salesmen combined told us over the two week period. Never once did any of the other salesmen tell us about anyof the features of the car and Spencer went through ever fine detail that this wonderful car had. Im sure that there are other amazing employees and Roseville Hyundai, but between these three men Jason Spiegel, Spencer Widmeyer and Brian Shaffer and there OUTSTANDING customer service and work ethics, I will never buy another car from anywhere else. Thank you again Roseville Hyundai and Jason, Spencer and Brian for the greatest car buying experience we have ever had. I might also ad that the gentelman who did our financing paperwork was also as wonderful and saved us a couple hundred dollars a year on our insurance due to the information he gave us. Thank you again Sincerely Sheli & Mario Rodriguez More
After having negotiated with another dealer and my not getting a call or email back in a timely manner, and then having 2 phone conversations with Jason and knowing what to expect, we went to the dealersh getting a call or email back in a timely manner, and then having 2 phone conversations with Jason and knowing what to expect, we went to the dealership and were greeted by 2 guys who knew whom we were there to see, and where we were coming from. Then we were introduced to Brandon at the dealership. He was fast, efficient, direct, friendly, a quick thinker, but not phoney or pushy. He didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't want or try to get me to spend more than I had discussed with Jason and the ad specified. I saved money compared to the other dealer with whom I had been corresponding. When I was being picky, Brandon didn't try to persuade me to do something I didn't want to or to accept something that I didn't want to. He helped me pair my phone, explained things that I didn't even know about my 2011 Hyundai purchased 2 years earlier at another dealer (this time I bought the 2013).The finance department was helpful, explained things to help us out, and everyone was very personable, but not fake. When you buy a car and you think you are getting a good price, it's nice to know that you really are getting a good price. Thanks to everyone there. We will see you for our first service. More
Office: This place seemed to be very disorganized and at times all over the place. The flow was not customer friendly at all. To make a deal I started out in the service waiting area which I found very odd times all over the place. The flow was not customer friendly at all. To make a deal I started out in the service waiting area which I found very odd and the first time EVER I had this happen. Was not a private conversation at all and others could over hear the conversation with ease. Sale: Was slow for someone to come out and check up on us. It was busy, but there where a few sales people standing about not helping anyone. At first I was left feeling the sales person was not interested in helping me. The first car I wanted to look at he came up with excuses of why not to show me the car I actually wanted to look at. At one point I thought about leaving but decided against it. After I test drove a few cars he started coming around. The sales guy seemed new but said he had been working there a while. He gave me incorrect information a few times, but you could tell he was trying. I had a car I was trading in and without even looking at it he quoted me a joke of a price which I turned down. Later he more then double the trading in price which I settled for. I had a set monthly payment price I wanted to stay around and of course the sales manager had to step in. Jason Spiegel was a great help and really worked with me to get me where I wanted to be with my payments. The sales guy Terri Britto (I think) did call me though a few days after I took the car home to check up on me which I thought was great and had never had that happen by other places. That made the experience even better! Most places will not go out of their way to check up on their customers. Once they sale it to you normally your history. This left a lasting impression. Finance Department: This was by far the worse part of the whole thing. Not saying it was bad, but it brought my scoring down to 4 stars and almost took it to 3. After spending a few hours of looking at cars and then deciding on one and being told I'm approved, we sat for another 2.5 - 3 hrs waiting for someone in the finance dept. to even speak to use and go over paperwork. The guys was super friendly and didn't try to up sale me anything, but didn't really go over different parts of the paperwork. I had to go back to find out when my payments would be due. But he was a really nice guy and made the paper process fast which saved this from being a 3 stars. I would go back but would recommend three different things. 1. Make it more personal. I really didn't care for people being able to over hear my conversation about my trade in vault, pricing, and so forth. 2. If your going to have customers in the sale area to use the computers and such, clean it up and make it look more like an area you want to invite people into instead of a storage area. 3. I understand one of the financial people stopped working there, but on a Saturday during a sales event, someone should have been called in. The wait was ridiculous. I almost didn't get dinner due to the time I finally got out of there. More
