"The Greek" got it done Doug Daskalos ("The Greek") is the fleet manager at Tonkin Kia and as soon as I showed interest in this 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, I received an email ack Doug Daskalos ("The Greek") is the fleet manager at Tonkin Kia and as soon as I showed interest in this 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, I received an email acknowledging he'd received my online input, then he called a couple minutes later to set up an appointment time for a test drive. When I showed up for my appointment, the car had been detailed and was ready to go for a test drive. He took me through all kinds of driving conditions (city, highway, and rural hills) and made sure that I experienced the great qualities of the car I was interested in. He worked with me and my "thin file" credit to find me a lender that could help me get the payment range I was comfortable with. He even personally delivered the car, and put some gas in it so it would make the trip. He assured me that buying the car wasn't the end of our time together, it was the beginning. I would totally go back to Doug to buy my next car. (This was my first car purchase.) I would also refer my friends and family to go to Tonkin Kia in Gladstone and deal with Doug. Happy customer I knew what car I wanted. (kia soul) I was doing research and talking to customers and someone told me about the Costco auto program. I thought is so I knew what car I wanted. (kia soul) I was doing research and talking to customers and someone told me about the Costco auto program. I thought is sounded like a great idea, but the closest dealership that works with this program for the Kia is in Milwaukee, OR and I live in Eugene, OR. On line it had 5 names to contact and I chose Doug "The Greek" Daskalos. We chatted and I told him what I wanted. He was very helpful. It wasn't much into the conversation and we had an appointment set for me to come up there. Everything was great and informative. I just wish I lived up there to get my service work done too. The place was busy and he was very professional about taking care of me. SOLD!! The hardest thing about the deal was talking my boyfriend in to driving me up there. I owed him lunch, then somehow it was dinner. I am now the happy owner of a new 2017 Kia Soul. It was worth all the trouble and effort to go out of my way to the Portland area. I would highly recommend Doug. More
