Ryan Maloney was awesome and went out of his way to help me get the best deal. Very accommodating to my schedule. I saw the lease price on website and I called to sales. Ryan at sales told me they have an inventory. So I went to Dealership after arriving Ryan confirmed have the car and sale price on website. After test drive I said I like it and we started paper work. They ran my credit and it came out with good score then they gave me the cost with 3 times more than on website. I started asking why is the different at first Ryan said that is because tax and license fee. Which would not be more than $1000 in theory for lease even though i said it is fine and i will pay those fee as down and then after so much of their drama. Manager came out and said Kia is having outage and they cannot give me the deal what shows on their website. Really? The reason i was writing this will help someone time and not to trust what really says on website. It took half day with their drama. More
Tonkin offered the best price on the vehicle by thousands. The price quote was by email and I knew what the final cost would be before I went to the dealership. Then I went to test drive it. I bought a 2019 Kia Forte. I feel like I got a great value. It’s a nice car, the price was fair and the sales manager seemed like he was honest. Donovan the Sales Rep was great during the sale. I had to come back for the incompetent finance staff and he pretty much failed to make eye contact with me on my return visits. It was obvious that I was just a number to him and he had gotten his $$$. The finance staff are living in 1973. The technology they use to hold a payment is a joke. They tell you you need one thing and then you need a completely different thing. They smile until the $$$ is on their desk and then don’t even look at you unless they have to talk to you. The customer service is lackluster and underperforming. I don’t feel like I got screwed over. I feel like I got a good deal, getting that deal seemed like I was on 82nd, not a new car dealership on McGloughlin. More

My husband and I took the leap to purchase a minivan for our family, and we could not be happier! We had both of our kids with us for over 2 hours (which could have been stressful) but the lobby had everyth our family, and we could not be happier! Everyone we worked with was outstanding: Floyd Schafer (General Sales Manager) was hospitable, kind, and made every effort to get us the best deal possible; Riley Green (Sales Consultant) was patient, kind, and great to work with; Rebecca Ziegler (Finance Manager) was joyful, funny, and the perfect way to close out the car buying process. When we got in the car to drive it off the lot, Floyd popped out to congratulate us and wish us well. It was truly THE BEST car buying experience we've ever had! I bought a car from Ron Tonkin Kia in 2017. I always dreaded car shopping because of past experiences at various local dealerships. I was referred to Ron Tonkin Kia by a family member, and "Holy Cow"! dreaded car shopping because of past experiences at various local dealerships. I was referred to Ron Tonkin Kia by a family member, and "Holy Cow"! What a difference! From the leadership (Floyd Schaefer) on down, there is a very apparent attitude of caring. They treat you like you are a dear friend or family member. I was so impressed that I had to share my experience with family and friends, and a few of them went down to buy a car from Floyd Schaefer and his salesman, Jaron. They said that had the best experience they had ever had, and that they would only buy a car from Floyd and Jaron at Ron Tonkin Kia from here on out. After three years, I still feel the same! I am already planning my next purchase. : ) More
