My 2019 KIA Forte was taken to this dealership for repairs after I purchased it from a different dealership. They had the vehicle for about two weeks. The day after the car was returned to the dealers repairs after I purchased it from a different dealership. They had the vehicle for about two weeks. The day after the car was returned to the dealership that I purchased it, I picked the car up. I left that dealership and stopped at a local restaurant and noticed the driver door handle lock cover was missing, later found in the car. I also noticed that the key fob was not working and that the servicing service department installed the anti theft software for this vehicle. I also observed the low tire pressure symbol on(all tires were at the correct PSI). None of this was this way when I took the car back to the dealership that sold the car. So far not a big deal, I’ll just take it back to the dealer that did the repairs. I called the service department at this dealership and was very unprofessionally and rudely spoken to by a lady from the service department. i tried to explain the situation and concerns and she immediately told me to deal with the dealership that sold me the car about my alleged concerns! I then told her I was not calling to have them replace the cover it is easy enough to pop back on, I am looking for information on what would cause the remote not to work (and yes I changed the battery first). Would the Anti Theft software cause this was my question. In a very rude and defensive tone she snapped and said a software update would not de-program a fob. She didn’t even give me the opportunity to include or disconnecting the battery for an extended period of time while the original repair was done. I have not had a lot of experience dealing with this or any of Tonkins dealerships but the commercial that says “we believe in nice” certainly didn’t hold true with this encounter. She not only represents this one particular dealership but all dealerships under the Ron Tonkin brand name. Very disappointed and I will tell everyone I know and can about my experience with this person. More
Rebecca Zeigler was so very helpful with the financing of my recent Sportage hybrid plug-in. After Tyler Quinn and I settled on the car to purchase and the price, he asked if I would like to trade-in my 2012 my recent Sportage hybrid plug-in. After Tyler Quinn and I settled on the car to purchase and the price, he asked if I would like to trade-in my 2012 Honda Civic with 80K miles. But there was a major issue because I could not find the Car's Title. Well to make a long story short, Rebecca stepped up and was able to order a replacement title from the DMV, which saved me from spending hours standing in line there. And after my trade-in was accepted and I had no car to drive, Tyler drove me to the bank to get a counter check for my cash portion of my purchase and grab some quick lunch items. Both were thoughtful, helpful, and when all was said and done, the final purchase price was way less than expected. Great folks and a great place to buy a car. More
