In fact, he encouraged me to call him anytime and to check the website to see what new vehicles had come in since my visit. That was very helpful because just two days later I found the car I wanted. Mike helped me through all aspects of the purchase, emailing me all details of the vehicle. Since I live about a two hour drive away we were able to complete a deal over the phone and to hold the car with a deposit until I could come in to complete the purchase process and pick up the car. Darci was also great to work with. She explained all aspects of the financial details and optional packages available, and she answered all my questions. After completing the purchase Mike gave me a tutorial and then offered future help, if needed, over the phone or in person anytime. Thank you Mike and Darci for all your help! More
Customer Service needs serious improvement! Do not take your car here for service. Had been going here for two years for every service appt since buying a brand new Toyota. The first time I had a real issue (not routine maintenance), I was treated poorly or simply blown off by almost every person I came into contact with here. Was asked to leave a message for service manager to call me back; which I did and never heard from him. Ended up taking my car elsewhere twice before finally getting Rodland to agree to look at my car. They had the car overnight while I paid for one of their rentals (with the owners name on the plates which is just tacky). Too many things went wrong here to even list, but bottom line they did nothing to fix my problem. When it persisted and I called them back a week or so later, I was treated rudely by both service managers (I assume because they knew I had complained about the lack of professionalism dealing with them) and they told me to take my car to another dealer...that I should start fresh and it was probably good for us to “cut ties”. Seriously...no way to treat someone when you’re a car dealership. They don’t care one bit about retaining customers or helping them. I was even told by the general manager “everyone here knows who you are.” Wow..they made mistake after mistake and then made me out to feel like I was the problem?! It was condescending and disrespectful to say the least. You should never spend tens of thousands of dollars on a vehicle for your family and then be made to feel so uncomfortable taking it in for service that you simply can’t go back. Went to Marysville Toyota and guess what...my car’s issue was diagnosed within an hour. The tech knew right away what the problem was..they treated me with respect and kindness; professional and efficient. No BS or egos here, just great customer service. And not so busy that they don’t care. They got the issue fixed completely and I will be going back there for all my service. Master technician was smart, helpful and professional. As they should be! Rodland seems to have a huge turnover rate; clearly employees are not happy or not taken care of here. At least two that I know of were let go or quit just in the two wks I was dealing with them, and they have a new general manager. They need to step in their game dealing with customers. Without customers they have no business or jobs and they don’t seem to care one bit at this location. More
