Visited many dealers in the surrounding area, but repeatedly experienced the same thing--numbers discussed over the phone held no weight once I showed up. At Rodland, I worked with Russell Pyles over the phone. When I showed up, we test drove the truck, then proceeded to "talk" numbers. The numbers that were presented to me were in-line/slightly better than the ones discussed over the phone. Because both parties upheld terms discussed over the phone, we were able to reach a deal in very little time. I was in and out of the dealership in less time than any other experience I've had. More
Easy Simple Experience I didn't want to wander around a dealership and have someone tailing me, or trying to point out the wonders of each vehicle, or to persuade me to "jus I didn't want to wander around a dealership and have someone tailing me, or trying to point out the wonders of each vehicle, or to persuade me to "just look at this one," the one they were trying to unload. Based on research: it was advised to always start on-line. Every other dealer I contacted wouldn't give me specifics, would give me ranges for prices, basically vague and ambiguous. Jeremy Potter asked what I was looking for. Using the work sheet from the toyota website, I told him (had no color preference). I received a reply. EXACTLY the specs I was looking for, Blue/gray exterior/cement interior. I was given Book price and then a specific price quote! When I went in, Jeremy wasn't available and I was given to Doug LaFave. It was the truck I had built on the toyota site and all I asked of Jeremy. Thinking about it, I wandered around, by myself with no one bugging me or trying to cajole me. I decided it was the truck and others on the lot didn't meet my needs or were out of my price range. I went back to Doug for a test drive. We drove it around, I liked it. We went back to the dealership to discuss a deal and trade in. When Doug went to the mgr regarding the trade in, I thought it was going to be awhile so I wandered the show room for the first time. There was a Quicksand exterior/black interior that knocked my socks off. I went back to the table where Doug was waiting and told him I was interested in switching. He didn't bat an eye, started new paper work, got the managers approval then asked which one. It was getting late. Doug had the truck detailed, washed, gassed, and waiting. Showed me the basics of how everything worked. Setup electronics (phone/blue tooth/gps/etc.). Tested it all out. Gave me his cards and numbers, and told me not to hessitate calling with any questions. The whole experience was completely no pressure, customer focused. Tomorrow it will be a week I've had the truck. I have put on just under 400 miles. Because I intend to travel I was concerned about the plates and registration. I called Doug and all is under control. Again, the experience was the best car deal I've had. Jeremy and Doug were simple, straight, and helpful. I really like the truck and have had nothing but compliments on it. Thanks Rodland. More
Had a good time Wife and I stopped at Rodland Toyota after visiting family just to check out 2017 RAV4...since it was right there. We actually had our minds made up Wife and I stopped at Rodland Toyota after visiting family just to check out 2017 RAV4...since it was right there. We actually had our minds made up on the 2017 Honda CRV, but wanted to give the RAV4 a look see. We were examining the exterior of the rav when randy vigoren greeted us shook my hand. I was up front that there was no chance I was buying a car and he smiled and started to show us the interior and let us explore anyway. Later he asked if I wanted to drive one. I restated I wasn't buying a car and we actually were Going to Honda next day...and he was okay with that and we went for a drive. Any how I had a lot of fun talking with Randy and happy that he would invest time for us for possibly nothing...he let the RAV4 sell itself to me. Except I still had to test the CRV...so on to next day checked out CRV and although opinions vary, reviews vary...for me the CRV didn't Have much over the RAV4 as for what we needed and Randy's demeanor as our sales guy over the Honda guy had me put the Toyota out in front. Called Randy next day on his day off and he came in and got me the price I was happy with, got a car my wife was happy with. Happy wife happy life! I can't ask for my than that! Thanks Randy! More
No pressure. I've bought 4 cars from Rodland, I'm 34 years old. They have never sold me a car, they have always given me the opportunity to buy the car I want. Russell went out of his way to help me as well. More

His laid back manner made the experience much less stressful. He was helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. I would definitely buy another car from him. Tom in finance understood from the start that I didn't want to purchase any extras and he didn't try to change my mind. Overall a positive and smooth car buying experience, and I love my 2017 Prius! Price was quoted and features associated with that price although limited color selection at that price. At request, price was amended to reflect taxes, documentation fees, and license fees. Seventeen days later I made an appointment with check in hand for that price, and drove off with my new Sienna. No attempt to talk me out of what I wanted, or add a bunch of stuff I didn't need. No third degree with finance manager. Wow. Second Toyota I've purchased here, and when the time comes, a third. More

Jeremy Potter actually came through with a great deal which brought me in to Rodland Toyota. Since I already knew what I wanted, and my financing had been approved, Alex didn't have much to do, in terms of sales, but he did show me the vehicle and try to be helpful. For financing, I had some brief contact with Jamie North which was good. And I worked with Jim McEwan to complete the financing paperwork. Jim McEwan was the best - very personable and I felt the most comfortable working with him. On 8/12/17, after the sale, Sales Manager, Jim Oneal, sent me an email asking for feedback (review). Rather than give a negative review about something I had not liked, I responded to Jim, letting him know how I felt, thinking we might have a dialogue about it, and get it out of the way, before I went on to complete my review. It's now been 10 days and I have yet to hear anything from Jim Oneal. On 8/19/17, after only 8 days and 81 miles, my 2017 Toyota RAV4 broke - an AWD malfunction - requiring a replacement charcoal canister. Given Jim Oneal's lack of response to my email, I did not want to go back to Rodland Toyota. It required 3 calls to Toyota road assistance to get them to actually follow through with dispatching a towing company to transport my RAV4 to Magic Toyota (the only port in the storm through this all). I also found out that "Toyota Cares" does not really care. They sent me ridiculous robo-like responses, a sampling of which follows: Dear ______ "Toyota respects your opinions on the matter, and we have documented your comments at our National Headquarters, where they remain available for review from the appropriate departments. It is through feedback such as yours we are able to monitor and improve upon the quality of our products and services. Your email has been documented at our National Headquarters. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us. Sincerely, Christina C. Toyota Customer Experience Center" Because, of course, that's what anyone wants to hear when their brand new car breaks down after 8 days and 81 miles. I printed out Toyota Cares ridiculous customer service responses and shared them with my office colleagues, all of whom were appalled at the how low Toyota had sunk." In summary, I miss Klein Honda. I miss having a dependable Honda vehicle. And I will never buy another Toyota again - at Rodland Toyota - or anywhere else. More

The sales and finance team were straight forward, friendly and great to work with! The only suggestion I would give the dealership as a whole is ensuring there's staff to support the sales process. Actually getting my vehicle ready to go took a while. I was at the dealership for nearly 4 hours. More

We looked at a few vehicles on the lot then Rodland arranged to get the EXACT vehicle I wanted. This is the 3rd vehicle Mike has helped me purchase, and I've probably referred a dozen friends to him, as well. Mike doesn't "sell" cars, he educates and coaches you in your purchase. No pressure, no stress, working with Mike is like visiting an ol' friend. More
