I went to the parts department at Rodland Toyota on a Saturday afternoon on April 2, 2011 to purchase new High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps for my 2007 Toyota Prius. The headlamps were in the proc Saturday afternoon on April 2, 2011 to purchase new High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps for my 2007 Toyota Prius. The headlamps were in the process of dying (intermittently not working). I then proceeded to the service department to ask about what I would need to do to replace them. Both Steve Hendrickson and Zach Convey let me know that Toyota had extended the warranty on Prius Headlamps out to five years and 50,000 miles. I met those conditions, and they got me in almost immediately. They saved me $400 ($300 on the bulbs and $100 on service). I found out that changing out the bulbs would have been no easy task. And that people that tried, tended to come in afterwards and pay to have it done. Having experienced the friendliness and the obvious concern for a customer's positive experience at Rodland Toyota's Service Department, I have absolutely no qualms about returning for any service I may need in the future. I had a great sales experience with my sales representative. I appreciated the fact that he did not at any time pressure me. He answered my questions promptly and honestly. He was easy to communicate with by phone and email during the process. He was able to locate the car I wanted and bring it to the dealership for me to see and purchase. The vehicle which is a Toyota Venza 2011 has exceeded all of my expectations and I am very happy with my purchase. The only negative with my experience was the dealership trying to sell me after market services that I didn't want. This was not a big negative but it was one. This is the second car I have purchased at this dealership in two years. I returned because I had a good experience the first time and I had an equally good experience this time. I used the Costco buying program so that I would not have to spend time and trouble negotiating the price and this was very helpful to me as a buyer. More
They were extremely helpful. We bought two cars, a used Prius and a new Camry. My husband and I have a long commute to work so we really needed to get into cars with better gas mileage.
