Colin is a great person and wonderful to work with. He and the manager worked very hard to get me my Prius in a week and a half, when I thought it would be 4-6 months!! The only negative (which is why I and the manager worked very hard to get me my Prius in a week and a half, when I thought it would be 4-6 months!! The only negative (which is why I rate Overall Experience as Good rather than Great) has to do with the iPod accessory I wanted installed. The service department, after removing the dash and trying to hook it up, couldn't get it to work. After much research they found out that that accessory won't work with the particular stereo installed in my Prius. Colin and the others were very apologetic and all (and, of course, refunded my money), but it was a bit of a downer in the overall experience. It would have been nice if they had known beforehand so I wouldn't get my hopes up. But, like I said, Colin was wonderful. This is the 3rd new car we've bought through him. And Colin and Rodland Toyota will be who we go to the next time we're in a market for a new car. More
I went there knowing what vehicle I wanted. The only questions I had were could I get my price and could I get enough from my trade-in. I went to the parts department at Rodland Toyota on a Saturday afternoon on April 2, 2011 to purchase new High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps for my 2007 Toyota Prius. The headlamps were in the proc Saturday afternoon on April 2, 2011 to purchase new High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps for my 2007 Toyota Prius. The headlamps were in the process of dying (intermittently not working). I then proceeded to the service department to ask about what I would need to do to replace them. Both Steve Hendrickson and Zach Convey let me know that Toyota had extended the warranty on Prius Headlamps out to five years and 50,000 miles. I met those conditions, and they got me in almost immediately. They saved me $400 ($300 on the bulbs and $100 on service). I found out that changing out the bulbs would have been no easy task. And that people that tried, tended to come in afterwards and pay to have it done. Having experienced the friendliness and the obvious concern for a customer's positive experience at Rodland Toyota's Service Department, I have absolutely no qualms about returning for any service I may need in the future. A positive experience. Was the first time of my many car buying experience which went very smoothly. I don't live in Everett, however I found it to the best of our interest to buy our car from this dealersh buying experience which went very smoothly.
