Great sales and setup - problem with finance dept Jamie North was great on the sales. He found the vehicle that we wanted, got it set up just the way we wanted it and made everything come together. Derrick Dankwah was very knowledgeable and showed us all of the features and helped make us comfortable with the new 4Runner. I sure there were techs and office support staff that chipped in and made our purchase come together. We would like to thank all of them for their good work. Our problem came with the finance department. We showed up with a cashiers check for the full purchase amount. We gave them the check, did the required paperwork and were told that the Certificate of Origin (COO) would be "FedEx'd" to our banker. A week later, no certificate of orgin. When asked they were able to produce it within 20 minutes but refused to send it to our bank. We were told that the COO would not be sent until we could prove the money was in their bank. I don't have access to their accounts but I would think that someone in their finance dept. would be able to check their account and see that the check had cleared and the money was in their account within two days. It took a week for them to figure out that pissing off cash customers is not a good way to build a returning customer base. They finally released the COO over a week after the cash was in their accounts. This delay screwed up the timing on the license and registration. Great sales and setup but double check the finance people and make sure you find out what the whole process entails. More
