First off let me say I didn't plan on buying a vehicle. Only looking at the different dealerships. Showed up at Rodland toyota and they were sold out of the truck I was looking for. They informed vehicle. Only looking at the different dealerships. Showed up at Rodland toyota and they were sold out of the truck I was looking for. They informed me that they could get any truck I wanted delivered. Very nice gesture. Also they had one at their used car dealership just across the street. I headed there walked and spoke with the very nice lady at the front desk and she introduced me to Mr. Russell Pyles. After some friendly talk with Mr. Pyles about life and such and the truck as well, he asked me if I wanted to take it on a test drive. Long story short. I loved the truck. In the midst of doing paperwork I remembered I had to pickup my girlfriend from work and only had a short time to do the paperwork and leave to get her. Mr. Pyles and Mr. Kemahli did a wonderful and thorough job of getting me what I needed. And then to top it off right before I left. Gave me the 30 second Bluetooth tutorial. Which came in handy. All in all I highly recommend Rodland toyota. Great family business. More
First to be clear, there are reference to two different dealerships here. So, please read carefully. The first one avoid at all cost, but definitely go with the second one. We wanted to trade our Toyota dealerships here. So, please read carefully. The first one avoid at all cost, but definitely go with the second one. We wanted to trade our Toyota Rav4 for something slightly roomier and larger. We looked at Honda Pilot, Ridgeline, Ford Explorer and Expedition, and then Toyota 4Runner. We decided on the 4Runner and we first saw one at the Burlington Foothills Toyota. We test drove it and really liked it. One of their internet specials was one that we were really wanting to buy, but when we they brought it to us for test drive, we saw dog hair all over the carpet and under seats. I asked if this is used and they said no, it's their dealer demo. I immediately told them we don't want to look at this. I've bought cars before from dog owners, and no matter how hard you try, there is always some dog hair that shows up and the car will smell for months after cleaning. But, all this aside buy a new $40 some thousand dollars vehicle and having to deal with that was not an idea of buying a "new" car. So, we took another one (not in our favorite color, but at least clean) for a test drive. We liked it a lot. When it came time to work on the trade-in value and the prices, things started going crazy and crazier! Foothills Toyota gave us their final and best price, but we decided to sleep on it and give them a call next day. The next day one of their sales managers called and wanted to reach a deal, since we weren't too far from their price price point. I told them if they can sell us the one we test drove then we would be in to do the deal and he said he'd call us right back to confirm. 20 minutes later, he said he's sorry, but that vehicle got sold, but he can locate one just like it for same price. I agreed and he asked us to come in and put a $500 deposit to get the vehicle. We showed up at their dealership and they had us fill out bunch up paperwork. 30 minutes later, he came back and said the one they located was also sold, but there was another farther away they could get, but they'd have to charge us $100 for getting it. I said are you sure it's exactly the same vehicle with same options, and he confirmed. When it came time to review the list of options and price breakdown, I noticed, this vehicle didn't have some of the options which they added to about $500 worth. I said, since this is missing those option, then give a discount on the price excluding those options. After, another 30-40 minutes, they said they would give half that amount as discount ($250). At this point we were so mad and tired of their game, we just decided to leave the dealership. Next day, I thought why don't we just go where we had bought our Rav4 couple of years ago at Rodland Toyota in Everett. I called and made an appointment with the same sales manager that we had bought our Rav4 from two years ago! When I arrived, it took Jason Lyon at Rodland Toyota less than 15 minutes to locate a 4Runner with exactly the options we wanted and even gave us a better deal and trade-in value than Foothills Toyota. Jason, personally went to pickup the vehicle and it was ready the next day. When I arrived the next day, the entire prices was as painless as it could be even less hassle than buying groceries. It took almost 30 minutes to get all the paper work done and Jason went over all the operations and goodies on the 4Runner. Jason really knows Toyota, and seems to be an expert with their new entune navigation system (we really like it also). It was relief working with someone that knows the product they sell (unlike the sales people at Foothills Toyota that didn't know how to roll down the back window or how the seats folded flat). I am taking the time to write this lengthy review and short story because I think credit should go where it's due and I just don't appreciate places where they waste people's time with their games. I would very highly recommend Rodland Toyota and their staff (especially Jason Lyon and Roger Wong) for their patience and excellent customer service. It was a very pleasant experience buying from this dealership a second time and I will keep coming back for all our Toyota needs. If you want to buy a new Toyota or Scion then I would only recommend Rodland Toyota, because I've dealt with them for over two years now and they are definitely the best! More

Our experience with Rodland Toyota was nothing short of amazing. From the deal we received on a new car, to the friendly service and complete lack of pressure, we actually enjoyed this experience! I seri amazing. From the deal we received on a new car, to the friendly service and complete lack of pressure, we actually enjoyed this experience! I seriously didn't believe a dealership operated this way ... it's never been my experience. The overview of the car by Colin Miller was outstanding ... he sat with us and explained the intricacies of the hybrid, help us set our personal options right down to syncing our phones with the audio system. We never felt rushed, had every question answered and received service from everyone that was 5 Star. They made me feel every bit a "valued" customer. More
Who would have thought buying a car could be FUN? I had a great time with Sam Chamaty, who answered my questions and guided me towards the EXACT car I wanted, a loaded Toyota Rav4. The problem was, I didn't great time with Sam Chamaty, who answered my questions and guided me towards the EXACT car I wanted, a loaded Toyota Rav4. The problem was, I didn't feel I could afford it, so I left Rodland and kept looking at other dealerships. My heart kept returning to the Rav4 Sam had shown me, so after a few days I decided to try again and gave Rodland a call. They connected me with Sam, who bless him was technically off that day, and I made another offer for the car over the phone. I thought it was a steal, but they wanted to make it happen, so after some discussion he said "The Rav is yours!" Sam met me at Rodland that evening and we did the deal. Everyone was friendly and happy -- no stereotypical "used car" pressure sales or crazy hidden costs. I loved driving home my dream car, and have enjoyed it ever since. Thanks Rodland, and thanks Sam! I planned on visiting the next morning, but before I could, Cindy called and we met 30 minutes later. She had a Tacoma brought out to the front waiting for me. The truck was what I wanted and more. I test drove and Cindy brought many of the features to my attention. She put some numbers on the table, and they were lower than I expected (thanks to the Costco discount and Toyota's 2013 inventory reduction plan), so we finalized the deal. Thanks for the great service, Cindy. You made the purchase a very pleasurable event! -Nels Borg More
I don’t buy new cars very often, and I don’t much care for the negotiating process. This time I used an online no-haggle buying service with a major consumer organization, as they say. Doug LaFave’s e-mai for the negotiating process. This time I used an online no-haggle buying service with a major consumer organization, as they say. Doug LaFave’s e-mail was the first response that I received. It had a very good price, and was clear and straightforward in all respects. I ended up doing several test drives at Rodland over a week period. Doug was extremely patient and helpful, and down-to-earth to boot. Seriously. Scott Fallows also helped out on one occasion, and he was equally friendly and not the least bit pushy. When I finally decided to buy a vehicle from Rodland, the price was just as stated by Doug in the beginning, and the patient and helpful attitude continued throughout the process and until I drove the car away. I highly recommend Doug (and Scott), and also Rodland in general, for buying a new Toyota. More
