Best car purchase experience EVER! My husband and I have purchased nothing but Toyotas over the course of the last three decades. Our prior purchases were made at the Magic Toyota dealership in the Lynnwood/Edmonds area. There is definitely no comparison in the professional treatment we received as prospective buyers while shopping for my car at Rodland. This car buying experience was nothing short of superb. My husband accompanied me to the dealership on that rainy February 2017 night. We had an appointment with Alex LaFave and he greeted us with a big smile and “welcome” at the front door. I was very specific about what I wanted to purchase, and I told Alex that I’d already found a car online and that it was the one I wanted to buy. He pulled it up on his computer screen and proceeded to carefully go over the pricing details with us. He asked me if I wanted to do a test drive, and I drove it around the parking lot, parked it back in front of the building, and said “let’s draw up the paperwork.” I was given the Costco discount and I walked away believing that I had just completed a fair deal for a fair price on a beautiful car. I am so grateful to Alex for making this experience a pleasant one. One thing that stood out to me as my husband and I were going over the paperwork was how respectful Alex treated both of us. We are an older couple, and yet Alex was completely comfortable in engaging in conversation with us on a wide array of topics. He answered our questions in a friendly manner and not once did he come across as high-handed, pushy, or arrogant with us. Alex was willing to give us all the time we needed to make this decision, and for eleven months now, I have loved my Toyota Camry. Since I don’t put a lot of miles on my car, I just recently took it in for its first oil change. Wow – what an amazing group of people in the service department! From the lovely lady who offered me coffee and a biscotti, to the gentleman who greeted me after I pulled into the service garage, and to the thoughtful young man who came to the waiting area and let me know my car was finished--absolutely EVERYTHING was a fabulous experience. Thank you so much for selling me a great car at a fair price and then for servicing it with a smile, a cup of coffee and a surprise treat! I love Rodland Toyota. Thanks, Alex! Joanne V. More
