Great assistance and service once 3-year maintenance-service plan was updated with the correct date through Ford and honored. An internal mistake made good that caused a 2-hour delay for a second time on an oil change that was delayed from an allegedly “corrected” in May yet it still remained uncorrected or changed after all theses months. Richard Crew, Sales Manager thankfully made the necessary corrections and updates Friday, 10/15/21. Gary Wells, service advisor 212075, explained the situation with the delay and offered to waive the maintenance fee on the service as my plan was NOT active due to some mistake with the effective dates. He apologized for the delay with my scheduled 10am appointment. He made some phone calls in an effort to expedite the updates. After more than hour delay he advised that the corrections and updates were made to my service maintenance plan and the scheduled oil change, tire rotation and multiple-point inspection was under way. However, in the past when things of this nature occurred, they vacuumed and washed my car to show their appreciation for my time waiting and the unnecessary delay caused by Rockwall Ford via Ford Motor Corp. I received my car unwashed and not vacuumed. Also, my less than effective horn remained the same— barely acknowledge inside the Escape. Is this the “new lack of quality” service that comes with the purchase of a vehicle at Rockwall Ford? This is our first time purchase from Rockwall Ford although, we have had other cars serviced. It seems that the 5-star service acknowledgement was more important than the service promised and expected as is the modern day norm in so many businesses. Sales are the “push” and follow-through once the sale is made is severely lacking and non-existent. Next-Door online complaints about this by local residents are more common about Rockwall Ford and obviously need immediate attention and correction. I appreciated the correction finally coming to fruition and service but the inefficiencies and delays were unnecessary and without reason. What will it take to get my horn repaired and a much more pleasant, streamlined service date next time? I gave you the 5-star rating you so much push to receive but do you really believe you deserve it? It is a real question! Surely, you must know improvements are necessary and these surveys are useless without corrections. You must know that this current status and attitude the auto industry has over the consumer will NOT last and will eventually have the consequences of past arrogance and greed. More
I would give it zero stars if allowed. Do NOT do business here, you sign papers stating this is the rate and monthly payments, BUT when you get to finance where Ike, doesn't know his job. Sales rep JW stated well if that happens we will discount the.car to get where we agreed, AGAIN NOPE, they didn't. This is the worse place to do business with. My advice go somewhere HONEST. More
Just like every other dealer, out to overcharge you on everything. Horrible customer service and my advisor didn't know crap about what was going on. I had a recall on my vehicle which I brought in for them to repair & while they were making sure everything was up to par, they discovered that I had a puncture in one of my tires. (I actually knew that so to repair & while they were making sure everything was up to par, they discovered that I had a puncture in one of my tires. (I actually knew that something was wrong with my tire & had an appointment scheduled with Discount Tire for that very afternoon.) Anyways, not only did my recall get taken care of, my tire was also repaired free of charge. WooHoo!!! More
